yay I'm really looking forward to this one!

Well, this was an interesting episode. Especially the beginning. I love these kinds of dream sequences and the ambience DA uses for them. It's always got a very entrancing effect. Plus, that monster voice out of nowhere again! Really got me with that. 😂 It was quite intriguing because that was clearly another person speaking to us, I'm assuming another dragon. The whole "trust me" thing was wonderfully creepy. Had me always pay special attention to when Witcher was using the word trust. The stranger seemingly wants to sabotage whatever Witcher is planning. I'm guessing that has something to do with her being an outcast from dragon society. Curiously, Witcher seemed aware of "the voices" which ironically did raise some trust issues. xD Even though she suddenly seemed a lot more self aware in this episode and even somewhat apologised for her prior behavior. Her efforts to get closer to us were kind of heartwarming. I like the dynamic between her and the listener since she's very aware of what she's doing but still makes it clear that we'll have to obey her unless we want to get punished. I'm very interested to see where this is going. Great work, DJ and DA!

Ohhh that was awesome! Like first, the dream...oof that was fantastic. Caught me off guard honestly, and I was like "oh shit". 😨 Absolutely loved the dream/nightmare sfx and the multiple voices. It was chilling in all the right ways! I love the whole "soooooo....this is what happened while you slept" convo after waking up from a week's sleep spell coma. Lol. I just love the like almost yandere/tsundere personality the dragon gives off. Can't wait to see where the story goes! Fantastic job! Both of you!!

Excellent job Jaro and Dangerous, on the script and the voice acting, respectively. The dream sequence was startling lol. Dreams are always an interesting concept in any work of fiction, it’s like no matter how old we get, they still get to us, positively or negatively, even though we know they’re not real. This audio made me draw parallels with the nightmare world audio from a while ago, that one was really trippy. Really looking forward to how both of these series will turn out. Thanks for the audio Dangerous, have a good evening. 🙂

It's so sweet how she tries her best to take care of the listener, even if she is clearly inexperienced at taking care of a human. She's so sweet, I hope we see some dragon cuddles in the future

Actually, humans *can* eat raw flesh fine, but not when it's been left out for a while (really, most animals don't do well with meat that's gone rotten); it's our cultural tendency to preserve and store food for the long haul that creates the need to then cook that food before eating it. I know this isn't important, but if we can't be pedantic on the internet, then where can we?

Jeremy Knight

Was that her in the Nightmare? there's a lot more to this than I thought.

Personally I have always been taught that humans just cannot and should not eat raw meat under any circumstances (unless you are used to it, that is), so perhaps that's a little inaccurate based upon what I have been grown to know. Still, I hope that despite that little non-important detail you enjoyed the script regardless! :P

Finally got time to listen and comment! Just wanna say, great work to Jaro and DA! This was another nice continuation and DA killed it with the voice and SFX! That opening nightmare was really cool, I love the ambience and the eventual vocal distortion. I also kinda like how many times she said “trust” towards the end of it, bc it conveyed a sense of… attempted brainwashing, for lack of a better term. Like, she was just saying it over and over again trying to get us to succumb. IDK, maybe I’m looking too much into it, but I kinda thought that was a cool touch! And Witcher’s voice was such a sharp contrast to the nightmare creature, another thing I really enjoyed! I know she’s a yandere, but she’s really sweet. At least, when she’s not mad, LOL! “I know I’ve been talking a lot but I can be a good listener too!” LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL, amazing line right there. I WOULD say mood, except… I don’t think I’m a very good listener LOL! All mouth and no ear, so to speak “For other… very important reasons!” Yeah, that’s what they all say. For science, LOL :P Also, I kinda like how she’s all “Plz open up to me and tell me what happened!” while also saying “For reasons I can’t really tell you about…” See, Witcher? This is why the listener won’t tell you :P “Before you make things more difficult!” Is that a threat?!?! Lol Also, man, she thinks WE’RE being stubborn by not talking about the nightmare when SHE won’t tell us why she needs to know :P Like I said above, I kinda like that dynamic (again, for lack of a better word) and it sure makes their bickering amusing, even tho I know this is supposed to be a slightly more serious scene Also, I know in a series like this, dreams are important, but tbh, I wouldn’t tell people about my nightmares just because I personally don’t think they’re worth talking about. But again, I know THIS dream probably has huge significance! Awwww, Witcher’s apology was so sweet! This is why I think she’s a cutie even tho she kinda kidnapped us, LOL! I like how she keeps asking the listener to take their time if needed Ope, back to the trust! Looks like we hit another serious turn, but it’s really sweet and refreshing to see Witcher realize these things about herself. That even if she’s ultimately good, she doesn’t always come off that way, so it makes sense the listener is still a bit wary around her. Honestly, I’m really glad that little bit was in this script just bc it was a genuinely nice, reflective moment for her! “Hoped to send you to bed with a name to call me by…” Which nearly made us faint, thx, LOLOLOLOL It’s kinda precious that she moved our entire room for our comfort and tried to rearrange it the way it used to be. That’s the way to MY heart: my bedroom! (Huge introvert over here! LOL)! Man, whenever I move out, I wish I had a dragon to help me get it done so quickly, LOL! “Nothing too out of the ordinary there,” That’s sus! “Fall asleep for about a week” MOOD BITCH, I NEED ME SOME OF THIS SLEEP MAGIC! GIMME! LOL Sociable? What’s that mean? (Asks the introvert, LOL) Ope, and she doesn’t trust us either! I do like the mutuality at work here, each one wary of the other, even though each one keeps trying to get the other to trust them. Also “arrow in my backside” LOLOLOLOL. “I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the ass.” LOL LOL that stomach rumble! Ope, and shades of the yandere return, her mentions of us obeying and not being stupid by trying to run. All I have to say to that is: “Try me, bitch!” (Immediately gets burnt to a crisp) LOL “Extensive non-announced and dubiously-consensual observations I made of your life for the past few months.” “I suppose the proper word would be "stalking".” LOLOLOLOL!!! “A proper introduction!” … in part 3 :P And although I get why it’s necessary for her to do this, I find it funny that she worries about us and then immediately says “So I’m going to talk in a language that might make you pass out again, and for who knows how long? Anyway, here we go!” LOL “this is already getting too formal and pretension, isn’t it?” LOL, Jaro, you have great lines in this script! “I’m not the most social of my kind either.” MOOD AND SAME “Wings tied” LOL, I like that play on the old phrase! “Whatever that may imply.” Bow chika wow wow… LOL JK And aww, that last line was pretty sweet! Amazing work, again, to Jaro and DA! The writing was good and DA totally rocked the voice, as always! Even though her voice is fairly casual, I still think DA did amazingly well at conveying all of her emotions and playfulness. It was truly incredible, and very fun listen! Great work you guys!

I do really like how she’s genuinely trying to form a nice relationship with listener even if she’s doing a pretty shitty job at that since she’s still pretty untrustworthy and has a bit of a short temper. I’m kinda wondering if the nightmare voice is Witcher or if it’s an entirely different person and if so what they’re motives are.
