Hannah Sword

Troy!! Thanks for making your Patreon SO worth it. You’re amazing and I love your videos! Can’t wait to watch this :)

FeralCowboy

Troy I am not going to let it slide that you said "Blossom Butters and Bubblecup" right before Someone in the Crowd 😂

Hayley

I JUST JUMPED OUT OF MY SKIN WHEN I GOT THIS POST NOTIFICATION IM SO READY TO CRY

Alix

Huge!!!! this is one of my favourite films ever but i also understand lots of the criticism ppl have. I still adore it! I cried for like 18 hours the first time I saw it 😭

Alix

Also if you're a fan of Ryan Gosling/Project Hail Mary, watch First Man! Same director as this, starring Ryan Gosling, all about space :-)

natalie

this movie changed my life when it first came out, made me a fan of musical theatre but i saw it for the first time in years with my bf recently and sobbed

Ashli_p

One of my favorite movies of all time!

Julie

i just absolutely love the way this movie was shot!! the cinematography and color scheme alone was done beautifully

Ellie

first (and only) time i watched this movie i cried so hard i almost threw up. I’m so excited to do that again but this time with my emotional support troy <3

Guy

I don't know how you think it's just good. This movie is incredible and the soundtrack is phenomenal

Katy T

You missed the "5 years later" text for the final scene 😭

Knightedjosh

That call notification threw me off, I had to check my WhatsApp lmaoo

Renee Marting

lol totally missed the 5 year time jump

Renee Marting

I love this movie because it’s somehow both romanticized and realistic. It is so beautiful to look at and yet it’s a very real story for those of us who would give anything to pursue our dreams. The music, the colors, the performances I mean wow. It would almost be too much if it gave us a happy ending for them together but they get their own happy endings and can be proud of each other even if they aren’t together

charissa love

me screaming: ITS BEEN FIVE YEARS. not a single season LMFAOOOO

Ally Holloway

Troy you were looking directly at the screen when "five years later" came up what happeneddddd

Holly Bee

It was five years not a season 😭

hannah applegate

When this first came out the ending made me mad because why couldn’t they just figure it out? Now that I’m older, I see the ending more as things just don’t work out sometimes and that’s okay, you can still be happy. I totally agree that love can suffer through anything, like you said, but I also believe that sometimes it just doesn’t. It still hurts a lot and I cry every time, but I love the ending now. Idk I feel like it’s unique to have such a realistic ending to such a romanticized story.

Grace Matson

One of my favorite horror films of all time!!! It invokes so many emotions. The cinematography, lighting and style choices romanticize this story which would otherwise be a typical depiction of the struggle between following your dreams vs following your heart. I personally always felt that the argument scene over dinner was more Seb's fault. Suggesting that she could go wherever he was after all the work she put into her play. Along with Mia encouraging him to follow his dream and open his club, and him almost seeming to intentionally misunderstand her and suggest that she didn't want to see him succeed. Both characters are flawed, and I love them just the same. The ending montage, as heartbreaking as it is, shows how a few choices can completely change your life. I first watched this film in 2016 when I was only 14 and I sob each time I see this it. I remember watching Emma win Best Actress for this role and wow it was deserved. The look they exchange at the end is shattering and perfect. I can rest easy knowing Troy has watched:)

emmapierquet

commenting again for you to watch next to normal on PBS 🫶

Ashleigh Emma

Omg I’ve been wanting to watch this so bad

Chloe

No way bro missed quite possibly the MOST IMPORTANT part of the entire movie 😭😭😭

Sebastian Masiarek

I feel like Troy missed so many important things 😭 He seemed so distracted, he even missed huge ass "5 years later". Btw, this is this kind of movie that works better every time you watch it, even if you know the ending.

megan just megan

ryan gosling did in fact learn piano for this movie

carolina

I think you missed the part where it said "Five years later" before the last winter. This frames the finale maybe in a different way.

Ashley Holland

I forgot the reason I haven’t watched it since it came out is bc I bawl my eyes out and makes my heart HURTTTT😭

Becca

First watch I hated the ending and didn’t love it, then I re watched (& saw it in concert) and I absolutely love how it ends. It’s realistic, you can’t have it all in life you have to make choices!

Trent Tellier

Bro missed the title card that told him it was five years later 😂 but hey still loved this had such a good time love this movie

ariel

we all need to go on a gosling marathon together i support this

Maria Harrington

Legit it made me sob in the theaters and when I watched it with a friend the other day she sobbed as well but whenever I revisit the criticism just stick out so much more to me.

Trine

OMG YESSSSS

Telewyre

This movie has so many layers, You really have to watch it a couple times

Eloise

Definitely should watch moulin rouge for the 20th anniversary next month. It’s another jukebox musical but really quirky

Kas 🫶🏻🍉

I love how the theme of Mia and Sebastian is the same of "Here's to the fools who dream", and just, the final scene is so beautiful and sad, I cry so much every time at that. I haven't watched it in years and I remembered it a little bit more fast paced and the songs catchier, but the photography and the concept are just so fairy-tale like, visually speaking it's stunning and Emma Stone in particular is phenomenal here 🥹

Tyler

He’s always getting distracted and missing important and good parts in movies 😭 it’s so frustrating

Alex

Lmao my favorite part of these movie reactions is Troy talking over plot points. Mia literally telling Sebastian about her bf Greg 💀 and Troy is like wtf?!

Amy McGlade

You missed the 5 year time skip

Amy McGlade

Mandy Moore was the choreographer she also choreographed the eras tour

Julio Mendez

I didn’t love the ending the first time I watched, then the second time I LOVED it. The ending sequence was the music transporting him to this ideal world where everything went perfectly, but the true ending was so much more real. Some people are in our lives for just a season but for very good reason. They saw the potential in each other and pushed each other to accomplish their dreams, but if they’d stayed together they likely wouldn’t have both been as successful as they became, and it seems like they both knew that. They still had so much love and admiration for each other, but ultimately they had to make that sacrifice to accomplish what they did. It still makes me sad to watch bc I have the same opinion as you where love transcends all, but with their specific circumstances it makes sense to me. It wasn’t the happy ending we usually get in movies, but things can’t always be perfect, sometimes those sacrifices are necessary and it clearly worked out for both of them career wise so it’s not entirely an unhappy ending

Nash

this is literally my favorite horror movie bc that ending BREAKS ME EVERYTIME bc fuck reality HAHAHAH I love the music so much though

Sarah Collins

Not Troy missing the “5 Years Later”. I’m dead. 🤣

Nathalia

It’s a LIFE story not a love story

Tylar E Dean

I just need him to watch every good musical ever Troy looks the happiest when he hears good music and i LOVE IT!

margot

If you have not already seen it, you should definitely watch Cabaret

Vic

God this was heartbreaking 🥲

Vic

Mia… I don’t think that’s what he means when he said “give it your all” sis

Gardenia

I saw this in theaters and sobbed. A truly tragic but true movie. The soundtrack was on repeat for me for months. The following summer I got the chance to watch it at Hollywood Bowl with a live orchestra and it was the most mind blowing experience! I hope you give it another watch! You just get it the second time lol idk how!

Gardenia

omg thisssss

Gardenia

i literally yell FOCUSSSS when i watch lol

Gardenia

he would LOVE moulin rouge! Rrrrrooxaaaaaaannnneeee! ugh it moves me

Vic

I second this

MolFrack

I have a lot to say about this movie, Ive seen this movie apx a dozen+ times since it has come out in 2016 A. its my FAVE movie of ALL TIME because, as a creative myself, it really spoke to me, esp toward the end when seb gets mia the audition and shes talking about how the whole acting thing is just a pipe dream for her and that shes not the best for it. So the song that she sings as her audition is one of my faves as well since it speaks more about the creatives who are wild and dream big. B. im also a jazz and photo/movie film nerd and the whole movie (or at least most of it) was shot in Kodak cinemascope 35mm film, and thats part of what makes the colors so vibrant which i also loveSO MUCH! The soundtrack is FIRE ALL AROUND. (Except ironically the songs with john legend arent really my faves, those would be at the bottom of the track list for me) C. the first and last times mia and seb see each other are perfect book ends. they first see each other in a club and shes wearing a blue dress. when they see each other for the last time, theyre also in a club but they have blue light on them! D. i can understand how and why the ending can be confusing and hoe some people dont love it right away. it is definitely showing what their "could have been" life would be like if the smallest changes were made in order to stay together. Overall, this movie is just so perfect to me in so many ways, and i am so happy you were able to watch this and i was very happy to see you enjoying the movie along the way! the reactions were almost exactly what i was expecting and had so much fun watching this again but with a new perspective!

MolFrack

i kept saying that to myself too! he was like "wow a lot happened in a year!" no troy! it was FIVE YEARS LOL!

MolFrack

Amnda Balen (one of taylors dancers!) was also a dancer in the opening number too! (short blonde hair with yellow dress)

MolFrack

he also missed the part where everyone in LA drives a prius!!

MolFrack

also troy! you HAVE TO WATCH Whiplash now! Also directed by Damien Chazelle and also has JK SImmons in it too! (also has Miles Teller whos also amazing)

Gardenia

if i can offer perspective, the first watch is always hard. it’s pretty much a mindf*ck at the end and it’s very unsettling when you’re not ready for it. watching you have the realization that it’s a heartbreak and not a love story, i get why you feel the way you do on your first watch. if u get the chance take a look at the cinematography bts! it’s amazing how they shot this film in LA! they actually shut down the freeway for that opening scene! witnessing them shoot the back and forth camera work is wild! Also that scene with a beautiful sunset is real ◡̈

Willow

the ending specifically is more beautiful than sad to me!! it's about how someone can come into your life and totally transform it and how meaningful a connection is even if it doesn't last a long time. they needed to be together to inspire each other to reach for their dreams, but couldn't be together if they were going to both achieve them. and that's sad but feels real and gorgeous imo

Sahra Özdöl

la la land is an absolute masterpiece! it’s my favourite movie and i watched it over 30 times 🫣

Willow

love doesn't have to mean being together forever for it to transform everything. and in the end 5 years later they are both clearly actually happy, even if it's apart.

Katie

Loved watching you react to this you should react to tick tick boom I think you should really like it

jess

LMAOOOO troy you make me laugh i promise not everyone becomes obsessed with this film & it's okay. everyone else is commenting it but in very simple terms it's just to show that sometimes things don't work out & even if what happened in the epilogue did take place it's to show that sebastian would've given up his life dreams to chase mia's. they both had a goal & unfortunately to achieve what their dreams were it meant they couldn't be together so it's one of those "love does not always prevail" stories. i JUST moved to LA to work towards my dreams so idk how you always know what i need lol your timing is impeccable. love your content king !!!!

jess

he already reacted in a past patreon exclusive !!!! great watch

Anthony

Gotta watch The Barbie movie next

Anthony

This movie speaks on so many levels when you've had a past relationship that this film hits so many points personally that some wont comprehend but nevertheless its always a good watch no matter your situation

HTHAZE

damn alright sorrrry :/

Meg

The choreographer for la land also choreographed the eras tour btw!!!

Something

I haven't watched the whole reaction, yet, that's why I won't really comment on how I feel about the movie. I want to watch the rest of your thoughts after the movie finished later!

slayla

Love this commentary as usual, I was also always conflicted towards the ending. Would suggest singing in the rain if you haven’t seen in it just because it’s the most suprisingly fun film.

Katie

Thank you ❣️

Paige Whitmore

I had my first date with my soon to be husband seeing this movie. We loved it that much we saw it twice. Now we say it’s our movie ❤️

Ce

Completely understandable why you felt conflicted, I loved the movie personally but I can see why others wouldn’t get that same reaction. I think the actual songs and cinematography were phenomenal. However, the storyline was just about two people not ending up together in order to pursue their dreams. I think that heartbreak of letting someone go that u rly love because you both want different things is relatable to almost everyone at some point. Of course it’s not a mind blowing idea but I think lots of people see themselves or their experiences in these characters. Not sure tho, just my opinion

Matilde Holmsted Rogert

Personally I love this movie! But I'm also super into cinematography so maybe that's why. But everything, the cast, the storyline, the camera shots, the music, the symbolic meaning of every single shot!!! Idk, I just think it's an absolute masterpiece! But honestly, I still get why some wouldn't like it as much. I'm also just a sucker for sad endings, I like when you really get to feel all emotions throughout a movie and I think you really do in La La Land.

Takara

I haven't watched this movie since it came out because I also didn't love it when I first saw it. I've never understood the hype. I can't really say that on this rewatch that my feelings have changed. But I feel seen by your conflicted feelings! Jazz being a focus is my favorite part. It's not even that I dislike that they don't end up together... idk it just doesn't really do it for me :/

Takara

I will forever see Amanda (dancer, second choreo for eras) in the beginning scene!

Sydney

First time watching this movie. Hmmm… not sure about it. I do like the realistic ending. And the acting was superior. But I’m also conflicted.

Bailey Porras

Troy you literally saw that she has a small child lmao how did you think it was a year!!! Still love you but you had me hollering a little 🤣

Caitlin Carrick

Welcome to the world of Ryan!! I watched his entire collection after PHM myself and have some recs: Lars and the Real Girl(a wholesome, romcom if you want to call it that, where he is only 26 and making waves), The Nice Guys(a very fun time, also one of Russell Crowe's best roles), The Fall Guy(a bit controversial but he's hilarious and it has a very good Taylor Swift needle drop). Lars is #1 tho, my favorite of his.

Ashley Lois 😻

How do you join the discord? Everytime I see a link it says it's expired :(

mia

I remember watching this when it came out and it absolutely shattering my heart. Obviously the music and dance and ambience it’s amazing, and the piano (my god!!!!!!). But I left the cinema crying and was devastated for such a long time that this is my first time watching it again since 2016. I loved the movie because it made me mad. I sat with it long enough and understood that to me it was so sad because, as u said, it’s a story that you know so well. Someone comes to your life and makes you believe and that’s so powerful to me. In the end, the life they could’ve shared flashes by and we can see that they could’ve follow their dreams and be together and it would turn out great too but it didn’t happen. Regardless how much love there is because there’s clearly a lot as they said they were always going to love each other. There’s this one person in your life that if you are fortunate enough you get to marry but sometimes love let’s go of you because it has to. I don’t think my heart will ever understand why because I think like you. I’m a hopeless romantic but I’ll never admit it. So I think it’s beautiful because it hurts and makes no sense just like life. They are the fools who dared to dream and I guess that comes with sacrifices we don’t fully understand. Or maybe it wasn’t mean to be - still, I’d like for it to be. Thank you for making it a safe space for me to watch again, Troy. Ten years went by and even though I understand love and life a bit better now, it took me back nonetheless. <3

Archie

You fully missed the 5 years later that they showed when it turned from fall to winter!!!

Faith

you know the greatest loves of all time are over now fr

Micaela Pumar

If you like Ryan Gosling you haver to watch Lars and the real girl and The Nice Guys

jesusb29

If I had a nickel for every time Troy missed a time skip 😭

Maya

I love this movie so much and its been my favorite since it came out, I think it portrays two passionate people being eachothers muses. Without her seb wouldn't have let go of his rigidity to get there while without seb Mia wouldn't have tried to put her whole heart out there to make something that is truly her. The ending being them imagining what it would be like if they stayed together, while their life would have been full of love it came at the cost of one of them having to give up on their dream or have it change. I also think the end could have been seb seeing his dream which had changed to being with her but that one is a sadder ending so I prefer the dreams/muses story.

Payton Leonard

I'm so HAPPY you finally watched this!! Have been begging on the discord for awhile- I just knew you'd love it with the very musician-centric storyline plus a love story.

Bulbasan

As someone who’s had the privilege of working at a movie theater with an IMAX when this came out, can confirm, it looked absolutely gorgeous on the big screen! I was obsessed with the soundtrack/score and the theatre/cinema of it all…but yeah also conflicted on that ending. It’s a love/hate cause as a hopeless romantic, yeah of course I want that dream happy ending, but then…I’ve heard it said, that people come into our lives for a reason…And 10 years later, Ryan does get to live happily ever after with another musical geological sediment! (Need an edit of Rocky mimicking Ryland dancing as the figures dancing in the planetarium scene🤣) Also…even tho it’s not a musical, I feel like we HAVE to watch Crazy Stupid Love at some point…then if you’re still craving some Emma and Ryan screen time you could watch Gangster Squad for your personal viewing pleasure🤣🤣

Hannah W

How does one miss the words "five years later" written across the screen while LOOKING at the screen LMAOOO i'm dying

Vvincent

mia being so weird about sebastian’s gig with john legend’s character has always left a big stain on this movie. a mf has to make money to be able to buy a damn property for a jazz club, it’s clearly not his end goal. imagine seeing your significant other happy on stage, but you’re too busy applying standards of happiness you made up for them that you have to stomp all over said happiness. gotta have a second act low point i guess. not a bad movie by any means, i enjoy it, but that bit of it leaves a bad taste in my mouth every time. they could’ve removed it and just made it all about him getting too wrapped up and missing her show.

Ava ❇️💟

king…. i need you to listen to the new slayyyter

huggy_b

thank you! i screamed the same thing when he said “ok it’s one year later” NO ITS NOT

Kimberly Marrero Watson

Troy, I love you but you have to pay attention. Lol! It has been five years.

Max

No way were you team Sebastian during the dinner fight 😭 absolutely not sir no way

Max

You missed the point entirely, he’d given UP on the dream of the club. That’s why Mia was so frustrated, he was supposed to be doing this to save up for his dream but he wasn’t giving any indication that he was doing that anymore. He was content with doing the band forever when he doesn’t even like the music. She dint care that he was doing it, she cared that he sacrificed his integrity and his passion for the success when his whole belief system before was that it doesn’t matter if people like you

Madison

HTHaze giving us the jazz speech before ryan gosling does is sending me

Daniel Koelsch

Troy is great, but this is one of my pet peeves about him

Rachel Cabot

Ryan gosling did learn to play piano for this movie!!! He’s so method and amazing. Love him.

Morgan

If you haven’t seen Whiplash (also written and directed by the same director) that would be so fun for the patreon. A little more drama than musical but there’s jazz in it as well as well as lots of drums

Allie Golon

I need a Last Five Years reaction after this,, I need to hear your thoughts on the conflict!!

Emily

Always fun to watch along with you and you’re allowed to not vibe something or be conflicted :)

Laila Cheyenne

Need for you to watch “The Last Five Years” omgg gold!

Addison Phelan

you should react to the waitress pro shot, u would enjoy

luu

you should react to the hunger gamees

Anna

Please react to rock of ages!!

Sabrina Hawkins

When are we gonna get a reaction to Les Mis!!😭😭😭

Nicole Valente

what do you mean this is your first time watching it?

Jeff

that first song that seemed familiar is probably because you've seen David Dobrik give away a vehicle or 2 😂😂

AJ Kelly

I think from my perspective, this movie is meant to leave you with an empty feeling. I think it’s meant to show you like all of these things happened and could have been avoided and that’s what that final scene with the “what could have been” simplifies. Ryan and Emma did great in this film and their chemistry is crazy! I think this movie is a love letter that shows that you can be passionate about your life and profession and still be in love. Did it have to end with them not being together? No. Does it add to the dramatics of the point? absolutely. They still could have both been successful in their fields with each other by their side, it just didn’t end up that way. Just spit balling, lmk if you have different thoughts lol

Anna

Please react to encanto, I would love to hear your opinions on it! 🥰

mariminerey

I haven't seen this since it came out & cried like the first time.

Izzy

Please react to a Star is Born especially if you havent seen it

Aimee B

you and Angela should watch CRAZY STUPID LOVE for fun - so funny and amazing - if you want more gosling & stone!

alsoknownasallison

the last "what could have been" scenes were a shared dream sequence between Sebastian and Mia. It's a visualization of what Sebastian is playing. he sees Mia and on the spot he composes a piece capturing all his dreams of what could have been and then his grief that it could never be. and Mia understands it, shes the only person in that room that really understood every single note of that piece, shes the intended audience its for her, for them really. and then it ends. because it always has to end. and even though they understand each other in a way no one else can, its over. movies end, songs end, there is no happily ever after theres happy moments that you have to learn to cherish when they come around.

rosie pendragon

I was so ready to watch you sob (along with me) to the "what if" sequence but seeing your confusion was something else hahahahah

Ashlyn Brooke

Troy I desperately need you to react to Moulin Rouge

Elisa K

Crazy stupid love is a must when watching Ryan Gosling movies :')

Candice

I’ve never been so frustrated that I couldn’t tell him anything he was missing 🙈😂

Kellyanne Bunkley

I love that they both are stuck in a hamster wheel, one broken record, stale in their careers, but meeting each other sparked the pieces into place they each had the perspectives that set them on the rest of their paths. Like mirrored Cubic functions where they meet in the middle connecting the dots to the rest of their lives. They needed each other to reach dreams that naturally take them in different directions.

Liz

You should consider watching the Merrily We Roll Along Broadway proshot with Daniel Radcliffe and Jonathan (on Netflix). Or the Waitress Broadway proshot with Sara Bareilles (on HBO max).

Emma R

This would be such a fun watch if he hadn’t seen it yet

JustKayt

One of his BEST.

Alma

I totally agree with you! The ending annoyed me. You can definitely be in love and have your dreams too. All they needed to have was good communication lol. Also i think you may have missed, before we saw her be successful, there was a 5 year time skip. Loved your honest review!

Leilani Childs

The fact that they did the movie ‘crazy stupid love’ together 😭🩷 theyre lore goes deep

Arion Floyd

True but I think since that is usually what happens in alot of films and musicals, its kinda cool that this one does things little differently at the end and they both have that little moment of what could have been.

Jessica Leigh

Wait did you miss the part where it said 5 years later? Cause you kept saying a year and seemed confused. Also Ryan learned to play piano for real and didn’t use hand doubles. If you haven’t seen crazy stupid love , it’s a must. Emmma and Ryan stared in that first and their chemistry is just so good!

Lee

The ending definitely could've been better, agreed. Can you watch the Cheetah Girls movies please?...or Descendants?

Max

It wasn’t even small either it was covering half the screen 🤣

Rebecca Mitchell

I agreeeeeeeeee wholeheartedly!!! I literally came to the comments just to see if anybody else said anything lol. She’s not jealous of him, she’s concerned that he just dropped everything that he was so passionate about for money and she was concerned that he wasn’t happy.

Jessica Summitt

So the dinner argument scene: i think a very important piece of context is that sebastian is so passionate about the HISTORY of jazz and what it means and what it’s about, the improvise, the conflict, etc. when Mia went to his show, she realized that it was all a completely rehearsed, structured production. The reason he went and signed with Kieth was because he overheard the phone call Mia was having with her mom about how “no, he doesn’t have a steady job yet, but he’s gonna open the club” and he felt like he was falling short as a provider for her (which is obv an outdated gender role thing but) overhearing that conversation made him realize that he cared more about her than anything, so he threw his principles aside to join this band that went against everything he stood for when it came to jazz. When in the crowd, mia saw and clocked that immediately, which is why she asked him if he liked the music he was playing. The whole argument is so sad and real because its such a tragic but common miscommunication between two people who only want what’s best for each other, but aren’t having all of the necessary conversations in between with context about why they feel the way they feel, etc. Mia wants sebastian to succeed without having to sacrifice his beliefs and passions and principles, sebastian just wants to provide a life for mia that will allow HER dreams to come true, and in the process they both got so caught up in their grand scheme dreams for each other that they weren’t focusing on the fact that they had to continue loving one another along the way. This movie is such GOLD and absolutely heartbreaking but i wanted to point that out specifically about the dinner/why mia said that about the band

Michelle Cardoso Author

Okay this may be a really out there option, but HAZBIN HOTEL has AMAZING music and it is so funny would be such a good little fun series to do!

mareeyadee

“In order to get what they both want, they have to give up on each other.” NOOO 😭 Them meeting each other is what pushed them towards their dreams even further in the end. Obviously they weren’t perfect, there were parts of the relationships where they both could have done better, really just more communication from what it seemed. Seb didn’t let Mia in on his process—joining a band that was still jazz, but not like the “old school” jazz that he was so passionate about, and then thinking, “Hey, maybe Mia had a point, i can stick with this more safe, realistic job in a band for now” until he could save up for his own shop, y’know??? He didn’t have to say “yeah this is it for the long haul, yes”, like it would have been fine to say “this is what i’m doing until my dream is reachable financially.” It just sucked bc it seemed so sudden to Mia to see him suddenly in this band the same way he was always playing in the past instances she’s seen him, very unlike the person she had fallen in love with (someone willing to hit rock bottom to climb up doing what he loves). She was supportive through and through and was even changed by his passion for jazz AND chasing his dream that it changed HER and encouraged her to pursue hers. It sucked that they couldn’t be together in the end, but i think they needed each other to achieve their dreams. The wild dream-like ending scenes i think signified what they both wish they had done for each other, with corrections to their mistakes. Then it turns into what could have been, had chasing their jobs and chasing their dreams kept them together, to how they wish it had ended, with them together. And then that last glance… AH! MY HEART 😭 That nod like, “Thank you for everything. I wish we had gotten here side by side. But i’m happy to see you reached your dream! You deserve it.”

Savanna Becerra

The way Ryan Gosling learned to play the piano in 3 MONTHS for this role will always astound me 😭🫶🏽

Alex George

Omg you should react to Ryan's band Dead Man's Bones. He and his friend Zach made one spooky Halloween album back in 2009 and I cherish it dearly. But yeah Ryan is a musician too pretty cool!

Matt Heeley

Troy.... If you love Jazz... I BEG that that you react to the Pixar film 'SOUL'. It's all about Jazz and life and it gave me an existential crisis. I need to witness you have one also ❤️

y2cali

“were they destined for each other? potentially” did you hear me SCREAM

y2cali

you don’t understand how much i love this movie my cat is literally named sebastian

Miguel Asdrubal

Troy actually made a comment when he saw J.K. Simmons saying "And here is your drummer" so I am pretty sure he has seen the movie, good recommendation nevertheless

Something

troy, you cooked with this reaction

Charlie

I felt like their chemistry was so good in the beginning but then it kinda flopped? They didn't really seem romantic. Kinda bummed about this one but glad I watched your reaction rather than watching it on my own lol.

Cary

that is the largest banana i have ever seen! america is fucking crazy man
