Posting rhythm - some notes (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone,
This page has been up for just over 6 months now, which honestly never stops amazing me! I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who chose to be here and support my work. It genuinely means a lot, so thank you. 🙏🙂
I also wanted to set expectations a bit more clearly regarding my posting schedule. It took me some time to find my rhythm and understand how to balance writing with my personal life.
When I’m actively working on a story, I generally aim for around 2 chapters a month. Practically, that means about one new chapter every other Friday (based on the poll). I usually need those two weeks to write, review, fix, cut down weaker parts, and polish. I’ve also found that giving a chapter a few extra days often leads to better ideas, so rushing tends to hurt the final result. And of course, life (family, work, unexpected events) can sometimes delay things a bit.
That said, I don’t treat this as a strict schedule. If a couple of Fridays go by without a new chapter, it just means I needed a bit more time, not that I forgot. It’s always top priority for me to get it done as soon as possible. This all goes back to the fact that I never take for granted the fact that you guys are here on my page.
So think of this as a rhythm rather than a guarantee. I’d rather take a bit more time and get it right than rush it out too early.
I really appreciate your patience and support. Whether you’re commenting on every chapter or just quietly reading along, both are awesome. 😎
Thank you,
Commandlz
