Hello there new to your channel and like your reaction lot. As far as I’m concerned, the only thing that could’ve made this movie perfect was to not show the spaceship in the beginning. I’ve seen this movie about two dozen times starting when I was in high school in the early 1990s. It’s a perfect action flick

Hey there - thanks for joining! That is a really good point about the spaceship.

Sure thing. A few more details about this movie, it was filmed on location in real jungles in Mexico, mostly in Mismaloya, Mexico. The director, John McTiernan, also directed “Die Hard”! The actor playing the Russian who killed the hostage and then is on the receiving end of the knock knock joke is Sven-Ole Thorsen, from Denmark, is also a retired stuntman, bodybuilder and collaborator with Schwarzenegger, appearing or working with him in over a dozen movies including The Running Man (1987), Red Heat (1988) and Conan The Barbarian (1982). I’d recommend Red Heat and particularly Conan the Barbarian for more good Schwarzenegger movies. I imagine mosquitos may have been a problem for the actors but most of them actually had to contend with “travelers diarrhea” stemming from the local water at their hotel. Jesse Ventura, the guy with the hat and the huge minigun was governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003. Carl Weathers, whose character Dillion loses his arm, has been in a lot of action movies, including several “Rocky” movies and most recently appeared in the Star Wars series “The Mandalorian.” Sadly he died in 2024. Elpidia Carrillo, the only woman in the cast, is from Mexico and has been acting since age 12 and has been in dozens of movies and TV series in the US and Mexico. When Bill Duke (“Mack”) is chanting “I’m gonna have me some fun” over and over while chasing the Predator, that is a callback to the “Long Tall Sally” by Little Richard that the crew is listening to in the helicopter on the way into the jungle to get dropped off. Kevin Peter Hall who plays the Predator can be seen as his regular self as the black helicopter pilot near the end of the movie who says “What the…?” as the mushroom cloud comes into view. Anyway, glad you both enjoyed the movie! Looking forward to more reactions!

Having grown up in the 80s, I have been a die hard Arnold fan since I was way too young to be consuming his movies. And all my life people have criticized him as a bad actor, but I think he delivers a genuinely solid performance in this movie. You totally buy that he's seen some crap and is a disillusioned soldier, and every choice he's making feels like it's the most honest. Such a great movie! And a great opportunity to see you both in the same room interacting off of one another. I had an absolute blast watching along with the two of you!

Totally Whatever

We've really enjoyed watching all of Arnold's movies and we've become big fans. Next up is T2 and we can't wait. Thanks again for watching with us!!

Hello... new to your channel. You ladies are awesome, really enjoyed your reactions, looking forward to your next reaction. By the way, the end scene in the helicopter the pilot was the actor who played the predator. Sorry I don't remember his name.
