Oh momma. That's a tough one. Love them both. But I gotta give the edge to Sarah for her hand to hand combat skills. But I'd definitely pay money to see that dance!

Deano

Sarah fist film no Sarah 2nd film 100%

TeatroGrottesco

Sarah from 2 and especially from the TV series

KShizzle

Tough one. Sarah got that weapons and explosive training, Ellen is real good at not panicking and thinking on her feet.

Crimson Ace

Hand-to-hand combat, T2 Sarah Connor... but A3 Ripley is no pushover. Leadership, Ellen Ripley, all day. Overall, I gravitate more to the traits and characteristics of Ripley. She gets my vote.

Sarah. Easily. She’s trained by the best! Multiple Special Forces type guys. She’s got skillz. T2 properly — properly — picked a lock. In “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” (2008–2009) season 1 (I think), like a caged wolf she bit her own wrist to successfully wedge her wrist out cuffs, AND THEN launched an attack against her captor who was a 225+ lb trained American assassin being 110 lbs herself. (She really is 110 lb. Season 1 shows that, either police cruiser computer terminal or documentation from FBI Special Agent James Ellison.) AND mom trained her son to fight! John Connor. The human rebellion leader that saves humanity. Sarah IS legend. Sarah, Kyle, and John (the trinity) saves all of humanity. Cheers.

Dawne

Ripley all day...every day. She figures it out and kicks azz.

Neon Replik

Ripley is taller and more built, but Sarah is a much more dominant character. She is more determined, more stubborn than Ripley. She is stronger because of her athleticism and sportsmanship. Sarah would easily knock Ripley out in a mutual fight. Before Ripley even realizes what has happened, she wakes up in the hospital.

FranciscoGios

Ripley is my #1. From the movies Alien to Aliens; she has killed 7 Xenomorphs and multiple facehuggers.

Kwasi

Hand to hand: Sarah With ammo: Ripley Both: WW3

Rob Norton

Ripley overall, as she seems smarter and more cool in stressful situations, while Sarah is more mentally unstable. T2 Sarah might win in a fight, but what does the fight involve? Ripley might set a trap for her or figure something else out to even the odds

JAKH

If you have seen "Dark Fate", Then you know that between the Saiga 12 and the LAW, Sarah would splatter Ripley in the first 5 seconds. Ripley only wins if she can nuke Sarah from orbit.

BBWulfy

What decade Sarah?

BBWulfy

I think I'd have to still give it to Ripley. Seems to me with the events they went through Sarah became what she was told she had io be and though that's impressive. Ripley's events brought it out of her. Like waking a sleeping dragon. Does that make sense?

Totally Whatever

Good point, we really can't decide on this one. It depends upon the circumstances.

Totally Whatever

It seems like we need to move The Sarah Connor Chronicles up on our list.

Totally Whatever

We keep going back and forth on this one. Sarah is definitely more stubborn and athletic.

TeatroGrottesco

Summer Glau (River) stars in it. Lets not forget about Farscape! 😉😂

Totally Whatever

Yes, Sarah in the first film - no. The transformation in T2 is incredible.

YESYESYES! Lena Headey (portraying Sarah Connor) is fantastic in this role. The struggles of raising a teenage kid who's destined to be the savior of the world. Internal struggle she was absolutely helpless to protect her son for something he didn't want to do; this rift in their relationship spans multiple episodes. Watching her gave me a concept for parenting. A lot like the “The Accountant” (2016, Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal) the dad. And like most real life moms that love and care for their kids, I found myself getting weary with her behavior. And I suspect females watching the show will probably irritated with her WAY before I did. I guest Lena Headey's acting is TOO good. I'm currently watching 'Southernbelle Reacts' reaction on YouTube reliving the experience, which I'll do with you guys. Episode 2 of the first season, exposition reveals that Sarah Connor had "paramilitary training.” Sarah is highly trained and skilled. She'd take Ripley out in a heartbeat. Snipe her at a distance. Game over. 😉 Cheers.
