Zoe: Jayne. This is something the captain has to do for himself.

Mal: No. No, it's not!

Another great reaction. I always love seeing people watch this show for the first time. A little bit about what I mentioned on the as seen before: it lets you know who the villain or focus of the show will be. I’m not sure why they do that. It just takes away from the show. In one of the interviews about the show, it was Adam Baldwin, who, because he had the training with firearms and everything, taught them how to “look cool with guns” for the assault scene. I have a theory on the shepherd‘s background, but I have to wait to share it. It’s pretty amazing when people watch the scene that I’ve watched the show with, and it doesn’t quite click at first what’s doing to keep Wash distracted, and they think it’s just arguing. You guys had that perfect reaction when it hit you, especially regarding what he was doing and what it would take to do that in that situation. The character work in the show is just next level and rarely equaled.

We NEED to know more about Shepard's background. We watched 11 & 12 today, now we are hoping to learn more in 13 & 14 - or a least in the movie. Don't tell us... I know you won't.

Episode 11 was the one that I was specifically concerned that the also seen on would ruin the episode a little bit. I hope it didn’t.

It was helpful to have the reminder of where we left of,f but it did give something little away. Not too bad.

One of my favourite episodes and a really enjoyable reaction to it, thank you. I must have missed River’s “Irish” accent in a previous episode lol, but if you’re referring to her interaction with Badger then you’re close-ish (geographically speaking at least).

Totally Whatever

Lol - what accent is it? Yes, we were thinking of her interaction with Badger.

James Hadden

Badger has a cockney accent (east London) so River’s is a (reasonable) imitation of that

James Hadden

If it makes you feel any better I’m not very good with accents either, but I’m pretty sure I’m right with this one

Totally Whatever

I think you are right too! And, yes, that does make us feel better. ;)

Another great reaction! Love the quote you have on the description! Again, highly quotable episode. Yes, loved that Niska tried to make her choose but she outplayed him. Yes, big laughs, big scares, and a lot of fun. I liked the growth of Jayne. He says it's suicide and that they can't rescue the captain but he's there and ready to go. "Fuzzy on kneecaps" still makes me laugh! Along with, "I was there son. Still sure you haven't shot anyone." Looking forward to what you think to some of the explanations you get later! Thanks for sharing! Take care!
