Another great reaction, ladies. I truly hope you channel continues to grow. BTILC is one of my favorites, growing up. The one liners, the action and the comedy. This movie was a re-written sequel to Buckeroo Banzai, another 80s classic you'll have to watch. But since it was meant for something else, that's why the dialogue was so fast paced and you go from one calamity to the other. The only part where I wanted to talk about was the ritual of the The Burning Blade and the Savage Heart. I think Nanette voiced some confusion over the ritual but what I took away from it was the fact that Lo-Pan's acolytes are sorcerers themselves and they were using their own magic in the ritual, keeping the ladies in a trance and activating the powers within the burning blades. Anyway, that's my interpretation. Have a great weekend and I look forward to the next reaction

Thanks, Jay! We have been working hard behind the scenes, trying to keep the channel going and offer more reactions. Thanks also for your thoughts on the ritual - I didn't notice that Lo-Pan's men used their powers .

BTILC is over the top campy. Loved it.

Great reactions! Usually when someone doesn't "get it" it's because they don't realize Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) *ISN'T* the hero! Wang Chi (Dennis Dun) is actually the hero with Jack as the (somewhat bumbling) sidekick. And you ladies got it, early on.
