A nice Saturday afternoon surprise. The iTunes version is 2h3m, if it syncs OK I'll update this post... Syncs perfectly.

Can’t wait to watch. I feel so sorry for Bruce Willis, He can’t take care of himself anymore. His wife had to hire nurses to help take care of him. My prayers are with his Family ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Joseph George

Yeah it's the same thing my dad had. Very heartbreaking

Jeremy V.

Woo hoo Christmas is truly here!!!!

Mark M

I love your John McClane outfits😊. I'm so sorry that poor Nanette had to get on a plane shortly after watching. I think you'll really enjoy Die Hard With A Vengeance. It would make a perfect summer reaction.

Joseph George

I hope TW can do Die Hard with a Vengeance in the summer. This was a lot of fun to watch with your reactions

What a blast! 😉 I'll say it again: you two were *made* for movies like Total Recall and Die Hard 2! The films are, fun, action packed, and don't take themselves too seriously, so it's fitting that you two do the same! I'll admit that, at the beginning, I was puzzled why you were dressed in such, uh, high-class garments. But once you explained it, I understood your brilliance! But now that you've set the bar so high, I can think of only one way to outdo yourselves for the next action film: prepare some dirt and stage make-up ahead of time so that you can add cuts, bruises, and grime to yourselves in real time as the hero becomes more and more beat up. 😂 BTW, having worked in the aerospace industry for decades, I can tell you that a whole bunch of that stuff about getting the planes to crash themselves into the ground is ridiculous claptrap... but who cares?!? It's so fun! Same thing with the flame traveling all the way down the runway and jumping up to the plane. It almost defines the laws of physics... but who cares?!? It's so viscerally satisfying! Nanette, you've impressed me once again by figuring out the tape colors on the machine gun magazines! You had the "what" pretty quickly, and eventually you even got the "why". And, Caroline, we *all* loved seeing that pane of glass prepared just for you! Thanks for a fun Saturday evening, Nanolyn!

Totally Whatever

Glad you liked them! We will keep Die Hard With A Vengeance in mind for the summer.

We are having a great time with these types of movies - especially when we are together! We absolutely should have added some dirt and grime as the film progressed. Maybe next time ;)

Harvey Lee

I'm loving the white tank tops 👌you're both really getting into character for this . This was a great sequel I remember the tagline was. "He's back and this time he has shoes on !!". 🤣 Thanks N+C ♥️🖤

Terrific watch ladies. the wifebeaters were a nice touch. If I could I would buy Caroline a big pane of glass and a hammer for Christmas. Can't wait for the next one.😍

Apologize to Carolyn for misselling her name.

Ugh, finally getting around to watching this one! Lots of fun! At the beginning of the movie you can overhear on the newscast somebody talking about that general being extradited to the United States from “Val Verde”, which is the same country that Arnold Schwarzenegger went to find his daughter in “Commando.” “Val Verde” is also mentioned in some other movies that are seemingly otherwise unconnected so some people have a theory that they are all in the same movie universe! 😄 The older lady who showed Holly the stun gun in the airplane was reading a magazine and for a moment you can see a picture of Riggs and Murtaugh from “Lethal Weapon” inside. William Sadler, as Col. Stuart doing the naked calisthenics in the beginning of the movie was also in the Shawshank Redemption as Haywood one of the convicts who becomes friends with Andy. Dennis Franz, the police captain Carmine Lorenzo in the airport that doesn’t like McClane starred in the TV police series “NYPD Blue” which came out in 1993 and ran until 2005 and was somewhat controversial at the time for having strong language and brief partial nudity on broadcast TV (ABC). Franz has been retired since 2005 but he is in a great movie with John Travolta called “Blow Out” (1981). Fred Dalton Thompson, former senator from Tennessee, plays Trudeau the airport director and he was also in The Hunt for Red October as the admiral on the aircraft carrier that Alex Baldwin went aboard before flying to the submarine. John says “another basement another elevator.” I don’t think he was ever in the basement of Nakatomi Tower! Star Trek: The Next Generation fans should recognize Colm Meaney as a pilot of the doomed British aircraft that crashed. Fun reaction!

Thanks for all of the extra trivia, REDR58!! This one is getting a YT Edit - look for it on 12/2.

Great!

I actually watched this two weeks ago and typed these notes but forgot to post them! - Notice the fictional country that General Esperanza was from was "Val Verde", the same fictional country used in the 1985 film "Commando". Hollywood writer and producer Steven E. de Souza wrote both movies, and said he also feels that the film "Predator" takes place in Val Verde. - I still don't get the naked yoga stuff. - It is amazing seeing how different airports and airline security was before 9/11, realistically McClane would have zero police authority throughout the airport. - I laughed when Nanette was like "BUCKWHEAT?" LOL nicknames were nuts. - The guy who plays the likable air traffic control director Ed Trudeau is actor Fred Dalton Thompson. He was elected in 1994 to fill the Senate Seat in Tennessee that had been vacated by Al Gore's 1992 election as Vice President. He was elected to a full term in 1996 and served until 2003. I went on a road trip to Des Moines, Iowa during the 2008 Iowa Caucuses with my two friends to check out different campaign offices and see what it was like during a caucus. I saw him and met his wife at a political event when he briefly ran for President of the United States. (I also met Senator John McCain, Governor Mike Huckabee, and the brother of then-Senator Joe Biden) Fred Thomson seemed like a nice guy. He died in 2015. I am sure you guys will see him in many other 80s and 90s movies. - I cannot help but notice that everyone in this movie looks so...cozy. Sweaters, cigarettes, comfy first class. 1990 Christmas time just looked...cozy. - Dennis Franz so great in this role (along with anything else I have ever seen him in) I honestly think he should have been nominated for an Oscar. LOL That would never happen for a movie like this, but it should have. - At one point before the villains intentionally kill hundreds by crashing the British jetliner, you can hear the tower call to try and send emergency services to the runaway before the plane crashes, but I think you guys might have missed it. Great movie reaction! Keep up the good work!

Totally Whatever

We love reading your comments, Mike! They DO look so cozy in this movie. Yes - we missed them calling emergency services during that part.

Hi ladies, great Die Hard 2 reaction. Having joined late, I know Die Hard 3 is already up, so I may just go and watch that next. William Sadler, the main bad guy, has quite the resume, including Death in Bill and Ted, one of the prisoners in Shawshank, the Father of the two girls in The Green Mile, the President in Iron Man 3, he even turns up in Deep Space Nine. Still loving the synchronised head dancing.
