M-O-O-N, that spells Thank You For Watching! The modern version is garbage, honestly not worth it. The book is definitely worth it, and there's a lot in it that obviously doesn't make the edit. I kind of take for granted the missing stuff and fill in the blanks but this is still a very good adaptation considering the length of the source. In the book, Trash is given much more time - and people are much more aware of what he may or may not do. He got radiation from the nuclear silo hence melty face. .

Thank you for watching this! Such a wonderful adaptation that holds up over 30 years later. The ending here compared to the novel is vastly different. I listened to the whole audiobook over one Summer years ago while mowing our lawn lol. The "Updated" version of this came out in 2020 and I've only ever seen about 10 minutes of the first episode.

Thanks for watching along with us! We thought the end of the novel might be a bit different. We should listen to the audio - that's a great idea.

Thanks, Adrian! And thanks for the heads-up on the modern version. Seems that reading the book (or listening to the audiobook) is the way to go for a deeper look.

Hiya ladies, wasn't sure where to post this message, but thought here was as good a place as any... I received 2 notifications earlier saying "give a thumbs up if you can see this" ..(or something like that).. Anyway, yes.. I did receive the notifications but as soon as I clicked on them, it took me to a blank message page with all previous chats from everyone disappeared.. both the movie/tv chat and the off topic one.. Didn't matter if I entered via the app or through clicking the YouTube link, there's no messages showing...but I DID get the notifications, which is really weird, I'm guessing other people have already brought it up and you've already seen which lead to the "thumbs up" messages.. Anyway, just wanted to say...the chat notifications are coming through ( for me anyway), but nothing when you try to read them on the app. Have a great evening.... looking forward to Firefly on the new YT channel Thursday, see you there..

Thank you so much for the help with this!! We've contacted support, and hopefully they can resolve the issue soon.
