Now this is a truly jaw dropping movie! Love how they slowly built to the reveal with the rest of the film dealing with the fallout. Knew you would be surprised by Ed Harris in this lol

Totally Whatever

We are working on getting some franchises finished later this month.

Much like They Live, this feels like a documentary. We are definitely in the Truman Show lol

"There are ads everywhere" Well true, but you have to give it up for the Truman Show. At least it includes the ads inside the story in the video.... I mean could you imagine if the completely just stopped the video in the middle of it, maybe multiple times, interrupting the flow of the video just to show ads... haha.. I mean that would be so ridiculous...... oh You Tube

I watch reaction videos especially of movies etc I've seen, because your reactions help me see something with new eyes a little bit. And this is a great example, I've seen this movie multiple times and reactions, but you really quickly got the kind of horrifying implications and aspects of this movie's premise, it IS diabolical! A corporation owning someone from birth is wild and ironic, history would suggest it's not that implausible though. Trying to imagine Truman's head after he walks through that door is crazy. The fact that this came out a year before The Matrix, whoa, maybe he went to the movies and saw the Matrix and completely related to it lol. Truman Burbank is now the owner and proprietor of the only video store on a small island near Fiji where he and his wife spend their time enjoying paradise and watching all the movies Truman never got to watch, I hear they're starting up reaction channel (In my head canon).

Harvey Lee

This was a great showcase for Jim Carrey's more serious side , and it's beginning to feel more and more relevant everyday , it's like we're all living in The Truman Show The Truman Show was inspired by a Twilight Zone episode from the 80's era called Special Service . and also partly by an original 60's Twilight Zone episode called a World of Difference but The Truman Show expands on these stories so well . and is wholly unique in it's own world .

Tim Heron

In the scene where Truman tries to tell Marlon what's going on, when Marlon is stocking the vending machine, nice catch on him taking the food back out. Since everybody except Truman are all actors, they don't need on-set food, since everything is catered. When Cristof is doing his television interview, the host is played by Harry Shearer, who, among a vast catalog of famous work, does a lot of the voices on "The Simpsons," including Homer's boss, Mr. Burns, Burns' assistant Smithers, and Homer's neighbor, Ned Flanders. And during the same interview, when they take calls from the audience, it's mentioned that The Hague is on the line, suggesting that they believe that the using of Truman in such a manner is a crime against humanity. I forget if he owns it personally, but at the very least, the house used for the Burbanks' home is owned by the family of former Florida congressional representative Matt Gaetz.
