-"M*A*S*H" (1970) was set during the Korean War, but was a veiled commentary on the Vietnam War. The TV series came out 2 years later. I highly recommend the film. -Graham Chapman played King Arthur, the middle head of the 3-headed knight, the hiccuping Swamp Castle guard, and the voice of God in "Holy Grail." He also plays the titular character in "Life of Brian," which you need to check out ASAP (hopefully "And Now for Something Completely Different" and "The Meaning of Life" at some point as well). -"Hidalgo" is from 2004 and stars Aragorn himself, Viggo Mortensen.

Since you are wearing a Top Gun shirt any potential release date for the reaction to Top Gun Maverick?

Randolph Tirazona

No, Carolyns' just a Tom Cruise Fan Type Person!

Jon Goranson

I also got 8/9. My comments on YouTube so I won't repeat them here.

Phil Stubblefield

I would *totally* watch Nanolyn rewatch the Indiana Jones trilogy! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Byrd N. Hand

If they watch it chronologically (i.e. "Temple of Doom" first), I can get on board.

Phil Stubblefield

I'm usually a fan of watching movies in release order, but if chronological order gets the worst film of the trilogy out of the way ASAP, then I have no complaint... 😁

To be fair, it helps with seeing Indy's full character arc (yes, he *does* have one -- it's subtle, but it's there; Channel Awesome did a video titled "Raiding the Lost Character Arc" breaking it down several years ago). Yes, the way you're first introduced to him in "Lost Ark" is cooler, but it's a small sacrifice to pay in the grand scheme of things, IMO. I honestly wouldn't be averse to them also watching "Crystal Skull," which I still don't think is *that* bad. It definitely has issues, but I feel many of people's complaints about it stem more from a cognitive dissonance of it taking place in a genuinely different time period from the first 3 -- as well as its more obscure MacGuffin. And it still looks like a masterpiece compared to "Dial of Destiny," as far as I'm concerned. 🤷‍♂️
