Not even a question, Fawlty towers all the way... 🥲 (As long as people understand British humour)

Terry In the UK

They are all exceptional shows....but I have to pick Fawlty Towers, it's only 12 episodes long but it has remained one of the most important series in British TV history...an absolute classic.

Wally Hartshorn

Fawlty Towers, mainly because it is great, but also because it is SHORT. Whenever some lengthy TV series gets picked, anyone who isn’t interested in that series is sort of out of luck for weeks or even months.

Neil Kemp

Fawlty Towers' humour is universal. Brilliant series.

Sam

Basil Fawlty for sure. I don't watch long series reactions, like GOT, because it is too much effort to remember all the previous info over months of the episodes

Smooticus

Basil Fawlty is an amazing comedy character - A high strung man who's the catalyst of almost all of his problems, and his ego makes them much, much worse...

Mark M

That link doesn't work for me.

Mark M

Sopranos is my vote. I've only watched it once before and ready for a rewatch.

Clipped

Twin Peaks and it's not even close. The most ground-breaking series of all time, and my favorite.

Randolph Tirazona

Bandit 😺 said to write in "Jericho" (2006) and I told him this was a list from the previous winners... He told me to write it in anyways 😺

Bill W

This should be 100% Fawlty Towers. Come on, people. It's 12 perfect half-hour episodes. They can knock it out in 6 viewings. The Sopranos will take an eon. It's friggin 86 1-hour episodes.

Wade Wallenstein

I'm surprised to see V on here! Haven't seen many react to that and it's a shame. It would be well worth it for the story alone. It's another huge favorite of mine.

Bill W

Jen Murray has been watching Star Trek since Sept. 2023, including all the movies. She's on Season 4 of DS9 now. 🙄 There were times when she had 2 series overlapping, AND a movie. 60S% of her content was Star Trek. for those weeks.

Scott Lindsey

Fawlty towers is fun and short BUT The Sopranos is a must see IMO

AdrianF

V (the OG) is amazingly good, but it the version I have (Apple) feels like it's different to what was screened in 80s? I was like 9 or 10, but allowed to stay up and watch it, so maybe I'm mis-remembering.

GomezAddams

Fawlty Towers is a one of a kind show. The characters are amazing and absolutely hilarious. 😂🫶

Bill Elliott

The Sopranos is the best TV show ever made, and I’ll stand by that.

Mike the Ginger

Yeah that is why I think doing TV show reactions are a high risk. I only watch reactions to things I have seen, and the only TV shows I have seen (aside from Schitts Creek or Stranger Things) are often sitcoms like Cheers, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, ect. I intend on watching The Sopranos one day, but to have to on a reactor channel for months and months would just eliminate 4 videos a month that I would possibly watch if they were films.

Mike the Ginger

I voted for Fawlty Towers, mostly because it is likely very funny and it is not long. I personally am a movie guy, so often times I only get the choice of two uploads a week because the third is often a television series.

thebeefmaster

"Fawlty Towers" now and for a future Mini-Series poll, "Lonesome Dove" and "The Night Of". Short series suggestions, "Sense8" (2015–2018) 24 Ep. and "Dead Like Me" (2003–2004) 29 Ep.

Byrd N. Hand

You've enjoyed John Cleese in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "A Fish Called Wanda," but Basil Fawlty may be the most unhinged character he ever played. 😏

J D

🔔 all hands on deck ⚓ ~ The Sopranos ~ 🔱 battle stations 😎

Greg In East TN

I have to disagree. I think "The West Wing" is the greatest series ever made.

Tim

I guess you might as well combo Fawlty with Mr. Bean to get more bang for the bucks.

JAKH

"Shogun" (1980 original) miniseries 5x 2hr eps "Alien Nation" (1989) 1 broadcast season (23 eps) + 5x 90min made-for-TV movies in lieu of 2nd season "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." (1993) 1 broadcast season (27 eps) "Dark Angel" 2 broadcast seasons

Wade Wallenstein

There are several different ones on Apple TV: V: The Original Mini-Series from 1983, V: The Final Battle from 1984, a 19 episode TV series from `84-85 then a reboot TV series from 2009-2011.

Roadwarrior1031

Yall should see Shogun 1980 I recommend seeing that

OrionM42

Completely agree. Twelve half-hour episodes is just the right length. Anything that is TOO long simply wipes out (takes the place of) too much other good material.

Nanette & Carolyn are shimmering, glimmering, gorgeous goddesses

This was difficult, I haven't seen faulty towers however heard it's good,V is really creepy, haven't seen all of the sopranos but mafia stuff doesn't really appeal to me, I voted for twin peaks, it's like a lot of David Lynch's stuff really confusing and unsettling, also best show is probably the wire though breaking bad could be considered, also wiseguy and still no Seinfeld hmm 🤔

inspectordh

V is a very good mini series. The 1983 is in 2 parts and V the final battle is in 3 parts. The final battle came out in 1984. I met one of the actors at a convention in Manhattan years ago.

Mark M

This poll looks like it will come down to the wire. Is it cheating if I post on YouTube so the The Sopranos Army joins patreon to put it over the top😅

Jay Davis

Fawlty Towers is a great show. But, as a kid watching V on TV as it came out, it left a BIG impact on me. So it gets my vote.

Scribe31oz

I know its not going to win but do give V the miniseries a go at some point. For its time its was must see viewing. Also, it is a very relevant to the current situation in the US.

Sonny Chow

Twin Peaks is hands down the greatest TV show ever created. Nothing compares to it. It is the perfect show for both your personalities and background. It’s got 80’s and 90’s vibe all in one show. Do this for David Lynch. RIP.

Macca

Hi I just finished watching Guy Ritchie tv series The Gentleman with Theo James its dark comedy so good on Netflix

Jimmie V

Tastes vary, but Twin Peaks is objectively the craziest fictional TV work of all time. It established so much that's foundational to shows like The Sopranos, Breaking Bad and pretty much any prestige show around and THEN it came back in 2017 to push TV even further into the avant-garde that still hasn't been matched. So yeah, do Faulty Towers first, but Twin Peaks makes more sense chronologically since it's the first prestige show pre-dating The Sopranos by 9 years plus it's only 3 seasons (one of which is only 8 episodes) and a movie.

AdrianF

To be fair, when Cassie did GoT she did two episodes in one video per week with a one-week break between series, and while it still took months and she got some grief it was frequent enough to keep track even if you've never seen it.

Gregory L Costello

Fawlty Towers is one the funniest short series in like, forever!

Jason

Boo to Fawlty Towers

MacGuffinStuff

Well this is interesting, because I know OF Fawlty Towers, I know it has John Cleese and he's hilarious, and it's winning, so it must be pretty awesome. I voted for V for nostalgia and because it's short, so you can move on to another show. However, Sopranos I know, it's a much longer series but it's so entertaining, interesting. But Twin Peaks idk, I tried watching it and at one point I felt like David Lynch was just messing with us lol

Joe J

Are you kidding? Twin Peaks couldn't hold The X-Files jock-strap.😆

Joe J

I prefer shorter shows and mini-series. Long shows take a lot of time and resources I'd rather see dedicated to movie reactions.

Doug Faries

You have to watch a fantastic RomCom, "Leap Year" .

J D

🌀 Point Break 😉 Cårolyn & Nånette 🌐

Byrd N. Hand

Yeah, I'll be livid if The Sopranos suddenly ends up overtaking Fawlty Towers in these last 24 hours. The best compromise in this situation for me would be to ensure a tie at most. 🤷‍♂️

Henrik Söderström

Hoping its the last poll with Sopranos in it. Great series but its not reaction material. Way to long and very much dialog driven. Can't believe it has 64 votes 🤨

Joe J

I agree, not a good fit for this channel. Some channels do get good engagement (views) with Sopranos...Diegesis for instance.

Barry

If you're interested in greek stories like the Iliad and the Odyssey, I recommend the movie Troy (2004) followed by the TV mini-series The Odyssey (1997).

Red Dwarf

OH MY GOSH V!!! V is such a fun ride. I hope this makes it later on
