I remember when this came out. I went and picked up my brother and we went to see it! Awesome! My favorite Autobot is "Omega Supreme"

inspectordh

Autobots transform and roll out!

Ace Gage

Watch Transformers One!

Ace Gage

Yes the new animated one, its great.

Mark M

This was so nostalgic! Hasbro wanted to promote new toys so that's why so many of the original animated series characters were killed off at the beginning. My favourite Transformer is Soundwave.

Harvey Lee

I just loved this when this came out , I grew up with the series and of course was so happy to catch it with all the improved effects and celebrity voice cameos in it . You may recognize Leonard Nimoy (Spock) when Megatron is upgraded to become Galvatron , that's his voice . Happy Sunday C+N ♥️🩶

My favorite growing up was Sunstreaker, a yellow Lamborghini. I didn't have him but my best friend did. I also loved the TV show Automan as a kid which also featured the Lamborghini Countach (though a different model). Something about that car for me as a kid, I guess. Don't particularly care for it now. Not practical. LOL

Omigod Omigod so much to say and share. Need to pace myself, my son has a friend over and guess what toys they are playing with…….yeah…. Swing by TARGET, this toy line is still going. Awesome reaction, will post more later!

Holmes1245

I recommend this one as well. Very good.

Joe W

It's a reimagining of the Transformers origin, doesn't follow this movie.

Reliving my trauma with you ladies, in seeing Optimus Prime die...

FranciscoGios

Even though the cartoons of Transformers were popular, I've never seen them nor this movie. But the recent movies I've watched the ones that were made in the late 2000s so you guys might not react to them or who knows you guys might.

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

Drink every time one of the ladies says "That's so cool!" Edit: This went terribly. Terrifly? I'm stealing "terrifle" by the way. Jokes aside, this was so much fun. I absolutely had a bunch of the toys as a kid, including the Decepticon dude that turned into a boom box with the cassettes, each one of which transformed and fit inside the "cassette deck" of the other dude. And they were all made out of... get this...metal. Like full on metal but still rotated the arms etc to transform shapes, lock together and such. Wild stuff.

Okay, so here we go. First, thanks for watching this, I know it probably wasn’t your cup of tea but it looks like you both enjoyed it! Plus, I do genuinely think it will get a good You Tube audience and more folks onto the TW subscribers list. So as mentioned in other comments, this one took place after season 2 of the series and was meant to introduce new characters. The problem at the time, was that by killing old characters (spoilers below) when the movie BOMBED, no one who watched season 3 knew who Rodimus Prime or Galvatron. This led to a short season 4, a season 5 that aired only in Japan and the end of the franchise by the late 80s. Of all the movies that I watched as a kid, if you had told me that the 1986 TRANSFORMERS movie was what my kids would LOVE, I wouldn’t believe you. My daughter even had Arcee the female transformer (she would say to people, “Arcee transformed autobot city!”). My son has the whole line up,’to include both Rodimus Prime and Optimus Prime”. Still the loss of Optimus proved deeply unpopular and a letter writing campaign compelled Hasbro to bring Optimus Prime back to life. This occurred in the two part finale of Season 3 titled……..wait for it…. “The Return of Optimus Prime”, which features a certain Stan Bush rock ballad once again. From that point Optimus retook the face of the franchise, and Peter Cullen has voiced the character for almost 40 years.

This was basically the”Bambi” of our generation.

Wade Wallenstein

I know this film inside and out lol The soundtrack is legendary and the animation still holds up 40 years later

MacGuffinStuff

Oh wow, blast from the past for real, saw this in theater as a kid and cried my eyes out in the first act 😂 they killed off so many of my favorite characters right away it was devastating? This should be a fun rewatch though.

Totally Whatever

Well... It was SO COOL!! Glad you had fun watching with us. Metal?! .. that's so cool! ;)

Totally Whatever

This was way too much fun, Bill! That's for adding it as your producer's choice. I love that your kids are Transformer lovers just like you.

Bill Elliott

Nanette your husband sounds awesome btw! I detect a fellow Gen X-lennial, loves ET, Transformers. I suspect a STAR WARS viewing will reveal more toys (I gave my kids my full size Millennium Falcon, also featured in STRANGER THINGS).

Totally Whatever

He IS awesome!! He loves going thrifting here in Maine. He always comes back with vintage toys and games. Watch out - he might try to steal that Millennium Falcon from your kids. lol

Roadwarrior1031

This movie broke alot of kids hearts then the had to bring him back in tv series

Bill Elliott

100,000 views on You Tube, I hoped it would get a good chunk but this is blowing up! Good job you two! They are also releasing it again in theaters next weekend, I will take my son, apparently there is 12 minutes added for new scene.

Totally Whatever

It's doing so well. Thanks for suggesting it!! My husband wants to see it in the theater so I might be seeing it again soon,
