I do have the novelization of jaws 2 it is different from what they have in the movie it was a whole lot better

From all the teenagers in this movie was recast they were that bad in acting wise expect Keith Gordon from Christine 1983 he only cast member who didn't get fired from the film cause he can act, and film did had a different director he wasn't doing a good job making it so he was fired that's when they got the director now film it, the producers hope Spielberg will do it it was too late for him to come in as he was busy doing close encounters of the third kind

There is a mistake in the beginning of jaws 2 when the divers swim up to orca you noticed the side window is in tack in the first movie they were broken out shows they didn't look at the first movie

Do you remember ‘Back to the Future 2’? In that movie ‘Jaws 19’ was playing in the theatre in the year 2015.. so.. we know the sequels will go at least that high!

I had a lot of fun with this one. Going in i wanted to say it was my first time watching as well because I really didn't remember it but as I started to watch it all came back to me. Great movie to watch in the summer ☀️ 😎

I saw this opening weekend. I was eight and I convinced dad to take me to see it. Eight year old me loved it. Halfway through the lights came up and we had to be evacuated due to a bomb threat. That was a common thing for a while during the 70s. The film did not age well, at least for me. But it’s difficult comparing to JAWS, which is nearly a perfect film. Looking forward to Return of the King.

They went more detailed in novelization I have to reread it I even have novelization of Halloween the reason Michael Myers turn out way he was he was chosen as pegan ritual

Great summer movie, although not so much if you live by the beach!

Good reaction! I guess I enjoyed this more than I remembered. I just wish it had not been so anti-Brody. I felt bad for him. If I had my way, three things would have been different with this movie. #1 - I would begged Steven Spielberg to direct. #2 - I would begged Richard Dreyfuss to return as Hooper. #3 - Write Murray Hamilton's character of Mayor Larry Vaughn much more sympathetic. Sort of like, "THIS TIME we are gonna do something!" I felt all they did was rehash the way he was in the first film. Nevertheless, there is a deleted scene with his character defending Brody, and being the sole vote to not fire him. The film's tagline, "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water..." has become one of the most famous in film history. I recommend Jaws 3-D and Jaws: The Revenge for the sake of completionism.
