June 16 - Emotional Melodic Dubstep #2 (Patreon)

Hey Everyone! For this week's song I wanted to start with the main part of the song so I began by writing the drop. This month's all about the feels, so I pulled a musical key/mode from chat and ended up writing a chord progression in E Phrygian. I thought it was pretty cool and different so I then wrote a melody and got to sound designing the drums & drop layers. Big pads, piano layers, basses, and then leads. After that I added some arrangement and got to what you hear here! If you want to see exactly how the song developed, check out the VOD on Twitch!

I really like this idea, but it needs a better arrangement and the drop needs more rhythm & lots of FX. Is this something you want me to finish? - let me know in the comments!

Download is available for ANimals and up! Thanks for listening and thanks as always for your support. Stay safe & I'll see you later today on stream!
