For the last song idea of January, I polled Twitch chat to see what type of song they'd like to write. Chill house was the popular choice and after writing several different ideas, I chose this one to pursue. I worked on drums first this time around and then moved on to chords. Adding some extra layers and a full arrangement towards the end of the stream.

I like this one - it's got a different vibe and emotion than a lot of my most recent stuff. As chat pointed out during stream, it feels like "returning" or "coming home" which I really like. The whole song needs better sound design and FX but I think it's one I will return to at some point.

What do you think? - Is this something you want to see me continue working on?

Download attached and WIP Archives updated! Expect a new release post tomorrow as well as a poll for February over the weekend.

As always, thank you so much for your support. Have a fantastic rest of your week and I'll see you on stream Friday!

Kalm is a great name for this track. This is a great track to listen to while get computer work done. Keep up the great work!

Love it. I think you should keep on it! I think this would sound good as a colab with Lyrics. Coming Home would be what I would name it. I can picture vocals saying "I'm coming home" during several sections of the song. As always you never disappoint! -Jenn

I love this piece, and would definitely love to see a release. I think doing drums first was a fantastic idea since it really makes the textures you made with them pop, without sounding like they’re interfering with the chords in any way. Or maybe it just makes me notice them more… in whichever case, I love this piece :D

Ooh, this is really nice. I like that it stays restrained throughout the whole track. Definitely feels like something worth revisiting/finishing at some point. Sounds like something I'd hear on Monstercat Silk!

Argh I can’t help but keep listening to this. Gotta download it and put it on my Apple Music so I can listen to it on repeat. ~~put it on Spotify already~~
