May 11 - Remember (Patreon)

This week we're continuing with some upbeat/summer-y/fun ideas. Like last week's idea, I think this song has a lot of potential. I started out with some inspiration from an atmosphere sample, a basic drumbeat, and wrote chords and a melody. From there everything grew into what you hear in this version. I spent a little time after stream adding some FX and smoothing out some of the layers.

I am definitely going to return to this song. It gives me a lot of Avicii vibes and I'm really liking it. I think it would be a great song to add a vocal to (in the sections where there's no lead melody). Maybe I should write a lot more in this style because in 2 weeks we have 2 very solid ideas.

But what do you think? - is this something I should finish? Let me know in the comments below :)

Download is attached and WIP Archives have been updated! And if you missed yesterday's post, there's a brand new release to download!!

Thanks for your support, have a great rest of your week, and I'll see you on stream tomorrow!
