June 29 - Sirens (Patreon)

This is the last week for some chill progressive house. The last few songs I've written have been melodic house and this week I wanted to return to a specific style I haven't written in for some time. On stream, I started out writing a bunch of chord progressions. I chose the best one and then put together a very rough drum groove, sound design, and arrangement to end up at the version you hear above.

I thought this idea was decent when I finished my session yesterday but I didn't see myself doing any more sessions on it. Though listening back this morning, I can see myself returning to it at some point. I think I would get rid of the lead melody/instrument, let the chords carry the song, add some background elements/FX, and potentially add vocals. That being said, I don't think it's super high up on my list, but I think it has some potential.

What do you think? Is this something you'd like to see me finish? Let me know :)

Download is attached & WIP Archives have been updated.

As always, thank you for your support. Expect a Genre poll for July over the weekend & I'm looking forward to something special that I can announce next month!!

Have a great rest of your week!
