January 4 - Don't Give Up (Patreon)

This week's idea developed a lot differently than anticipated, but I really like where it went. It's been awhile since I wrote some Drum and Bass and although I didn't start the session wanting to write DnB, it felt the most after I wrote the chords. An arp lead, some drums/bass, and a guitar in the intro and I ended up at the version you hear above. Not bad for the 1st idea of the year!

I don't intend to write a whole lot of DnB over the next few months but I like this idea and think I will return to it at some point. What do you think? - Is this the type of song you'd like to see more of?

And do you like the guitar parts? - I want to keep it simple for now, but I'm having fun integrating something new into my music.

Download attached and WIP Archive has been updated.

Thank you for supporting me here. Expect a few more posts in the next week or 2... a merch update, a full-on 2023 update, some downloads, and a poll are on the way soon.

Have a great rest of your week and I'll see you on stream Friday!
