A bunch of News!

First, let’s get the April Fools stuff out of the way!

I, and a couple of my author friends, wrote some cute chapters from the POV of our favourite side-kicks and pet companions! They’re playing cards and DnD with each other, and it’s all quite cute!

Check out Cinnamon Bun’s chapter HERE!

In other news, yesterday was the final day for submissions to the SCS fanfiction contest! Reading will start tomorrow!

Everyone will gain access to a Google Doc with the content of each chapter, as well as a small form that you can use for notes. The actual voting segment will begin on April 9th, with the final winner declared on the 15th of April!

Check it out! Your vote might be the one to decide who gets the $1,000 cash prize!

In other-other news, I’ve decided to launch a card game! Just as a cute and fun way to engage with your favorite characters! You can see two of our first ☆☆☆☆☆ characters below!

Full rules will be released at a later date!

I did an AMA yesterday on the R/LitRPG subreddit that you can find HERE! It’s a bit late to participate, but I wouldn’t leave a few last-minute questions unanswered if you have them!

So the Cat card, do I have to kiss them, or do they have to kiss me?

Flying Goat

And if they have more than one mouth, does it have to be the right one, just any mouth, or all of them, however many they might have? And what if they don't have any mouth?

riseris

Kissing a slime might be difficult. Do you have to stick your head in it?

Fulky

What happens if control of Cat changes? Is it a constant effect, or only an enter the battlefield effect?

Martin Boudrias

you know, I am pretty sure the cards are an April Fools joke, but I would absolutely play a card game or board game based on Raven's various characters and worlds

RavensDagger

Hah! It's 100% an April fools thing... but at the same time, I think it might be a neat idea too? I don't know enough about cards and such to really do anything with it, however.

I've said it before. Stray Cat is the best idea I've heard for a 1-GM 1-player TTRPG I've ever heard. A game where a self-sufficient player kills aliens, amassing a fortune and molds a public persona, all while buying stuff from a near limitless number of catalogs? While a bodyless AI advises your actions? It's like Shadowrun and a dopamine looping phone game had a baby.
