Update 4/30/2026: Here is the pencil version for the skinny 12oz cans. This does require a little support material for the lid.

This post has been completely re-written from the original which was more of an announcement post with an earlier version of this product. Below are the new files available to subscribers.

You can add text to almost any object, with in your slicer. Just go to YouTube and search your particular printer and slicer.

I haven’t done that one yet. I started with the slim version since it fits the proportions a little better once I have it exactly how I’m wanting it. I’ll get other sizes going.

I'm very appreciative. So much debate on petg printing for endurance wear and tare and no mold issues. I haven't used petg yet but will if it will hold better

Hello. Just finished printing. The top is loose. How do I adjust it to make it snug? If I turn it over, it falls off. It does not sit flush down like the koozie. It did print beautifully though.

I have. The top is too loose. It's a beautiful print. Will have to work a little at sizing the cap up to be sure that it fits and stays on. It's an otherwise beautiful print.

No I did not, it is a bit loose, he said that he was working on an update to the file so that the top wouldn’t move so freely. The fact that it’s loose was not a deal breaker for me, I just needed to print a sample for pictures. Hopefully by the time I get ready to sell them, he would have posted the update.

Like others said the top is just a little too loose I haven't tried a fix yet but probably scaling it up will work

different filaments will yield different fits so you just have to scale the lid slightly, lik,e 0.5% at a time to get it right. For me it seems to always be betwwen 99.5%-100.5%

I downloaded the file and there's no lid. The standard pencil isn't aleady colored.

I did not adjust the top either, and it is a bit loose but I imagine sizing the lid down .5% or the body up half a percent would probably be perfect. I asked Tom on another post if he'd consider creating a tolerance test piece for the lids that we can print before printing the full lid. It really is dependent on filament, because I've had the original can cooler lid print perfect in one filament and same file not modified come out loose with another filament of the same color. One was matte, one wasn't. Both were PLA, I'm printing the coolers now in PETG and interested to see if my test lid in PETG will be just right or loose or tight.

I've had to adjust the top a bit too. Believe I am running them at 100.3 - with polymaker matte filament.
