⚠️ Reporting a Critical Issue
If you run into a confirmed issue with one of my files, feel free to email me at:animuL67@gmail.com
Please reserve email for true file issues, such as:
Wrong file uploaded
Missing or broken files or links
Something that would affect everyone downloading it
For general questions, print issues, or fitment tweaks, please reach out through normal channels (DM on here or facebook.com/animuL67Labs) or post in the community for help in my facebook group: facebook.com/groups/3dprintcommunity
Where are the lids / handles / add-on parts for the Can Holders?
They’re all on my MakerWorld page:https://makerworld.com/en/@animuL67/upload
Find the matching version/size of your Can Holder and use the add-on parts from that file.
I keep them centralized like this so when I make updates, I only have to fix things in one place instead of across a bunch of files.
What is the line running up the side of my print?
That’s the seam. It’s unavoidable—it’s just how most 3D printing works.
I set my files so the seam is placed at the back of the printer, which means:
You should orient the can holder facing left or right
The seam ends up on the side of the part
I’ve found that’s the least noticeable location.
You can improve it with:
Different filament (some hide seams better)
Seam settings (like scarf seams)
Pressure advance tuning
But honestly, the best low-effort solution is just keeping it on the side.
My lid is too loose / too tight
This comes down to filament variation. Different materials shrink/expand differently, so slip fits won’t ever be perfect across the board.
What I recommend:
Too loose → scale to 100.5%
Too tight → scale to 99.5%
I designed things so you can adjust the smaller parts instead of reprinting the bigger ones.
How do I change colors at certain layer heights?
If the model is split into parts:
Select each object from the list (left side in Bambu Studio)
Assign colors directly(This is the easiest and preferred method)
If it’s NOT split:
Slice the model
Use the vertical slider on the right
Move to the height you want
Right-click → change filament
Repeat as needed, then re-slice
I generally avoid painting.
Where is [specific model]?
Models are either:
MakerWorld → usually includes my logo or branded versions
Patreon → member-only versions (no branding)
My Patreon organization isn’t great right now—I know.I’m working on restructuring it so everything is easier to find.
How do I send you a picture / get help?
Best way is through Facebook:https://facebook.com/animuL67Labs
That’s where I can respond quickest and go back-and-forth easily. If you previously contacted me on my personal Facebook I cannot respond - Facebook locked my account due to the increase in activity.
Can I sell or share the digital files?
No — please don’t sell or redistribute the digital files, it severs the link back to me.
Instead, share a link to where my original files are located.
I may revisit this depending on feedback.
Can I remix your files?
Yes, with a couple guidelines:
Give proper credit and link back to the original file
Do not include the add-on parts in your upload
Do not use the common trademarked name
If you want, you can also upload your remix as a profile on my original file.
Can I put my own logo on the bottom of your models?I’d prefer that you don’t add your own logo to the bottom. At that point it starts to feel more like rebranding rather than customization.
I’m already offering versions without my logo, which means there’s no attribution at all and the model is essentially generic. Adding another brand on top of that crosses into claiming the design.
This is mainly to protect the original work and avoid situations where it could eventually get passed around as someone else’s.
Side logos, text, and other customizations are totally fine. Co-branding in listings or packaging (for example, “ACME 3D Printing LLC – Customized Can Holder” with attribution to me) is also completely fine.
