For me, the only thing I might use would be something simple like a PDF of the story once completed.

I've been listening to some of your stories with Siri on my phone, but he pronounces "cum" as "coom" which is a little annoying lol So audio versions with a quality AI voice would be great

Hey Cody, Hope your Autumn’s going great too! Paperback book collections of Cody Stories Personally, I prefer electronic media, so I’d stick with digital. Having a higher tier that gets paperback books mailed automatically every 2 months It’s a cool idea, but not something I’d go for myself. Audio of stories (quality AI voice) I’ve tried some A.I. narrators before, and honestly, it takes away from the fantasy for me—the voice in my head is always better. Other gifts Let me think it over a bit, and I’ll DM you if anything else comes to mind. As for gifts or added options, here are a few ideas: – A.I. pictures of the characters as you envision them – A series format for certain stories, almost like an Amazon/Netflix/Showtime-style continuation – POV versions of existing stories to give a more internal perspective of the characters – You are interviewing the characters as part of a fun bonus mini-series – Stories that go deeper into character development, with more dialogue and interaction, and less heavy narrative perspective Cheers, Tony

I’ve listened to a lot of audiobooks, but the experience ends up feeling like someone is simply reading the story to me. If a story is written in a narrative perspective, it works fine, but it still lacks that deeper character development for me. To make it feel real, the narrator would need to actually change their voice when the characters speak. When I’m reading on my own, I picture the characters exactly as you describe them. My imagination builds them—how they sound, how they move, their energy. But when the audio is read in one flat voice, it takes some of that away. It loses the immersion and the character I’ve already formed in my head.

I actually did that on some of the audio stories here. I used a different voice for the dialogue of each person in the story.

Don’t get me wrong — I think audiobooks have considerable value. When I was younger, I listened to a lot of self-motivational audiobooks, and they were perfect for long drives. I was never much of a reader back then; honestly, my reading skills weren’t excellent until college, and then my professional life forced me to read a ton. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel more connected to a story when I read it myself. I truly love your work, and I think that’s why I feel like I’m missing something when it’s in audiobook form. There’s a depth and a connection I get from reading that I don’t quite get when it’s read to me.
