Chapter 7: Full House

Tony was standing naked in the living room when I walked out, his big dong hanging low with some morning firmness making it point slightly forward. He was looking down at himself, his curly hair messy, adding to the visual of him peeling the dried-jizz paper towel off his stomach.

He looked up through half-open eyes, his hair going in every direction. He saw me coming out of Decker's room. He saw Decker’s body visible in the bed behind me. He scrunched his brow and tilted his head to the side.

"Why did you sleep in there?" he said. "You piss your bed or something?"

I chuckled, relieved he wasn’t putting it together right away. "Something like that."

He nodded like that had settled it. He had a hangover and other things to worry about. "I think I had a wet dream on your couch."

"No," I said. "You made me stay to watch you beat off. I dropped the paper towels on you when you were done."

He stared at me, smiling in what would be a laugh if he were more awake. "Wow. And you stayed for the whole show?"

I closed my eyes. "It's too early for this."

He rubbed his eyes, turning around to look for his clothes, flashing his pale little ass in my direction as Decker's footsteps came up behind me. He walked out and looked at the two of us, snickering through his nose, and kept walking straight to the bathroom. A second later I heard him start to pee.

—[]—

A few days passed the way the whole summer had, work and the apartment and Decker. The projects got bigger and the deadlines less forgiving, and somewhere in there Decker and I had quietly become the interns people came to when something actually needed to get done.

Logan made it official in front of a client, which neither of us had seen coming.

It was a meeting on the thirty-second floor, a room the interns didn't normally have access to. Logan recruited us last minute for some “sales engineering”, and said to bring our A-game as he rapidly ran through the existing details of the negotiation so far in the elevator on the way up.

The client was already seated when we walked in, two men in expensive suits and a younger woman taking notes. Logan introduced us before we'd even sat down.

"These are my rising stars," he said, with a bit of specific confidence rooted in us, "Decker and Nick. They've been running point on the Hedrick variance work all summer."

The older of the two men looked at us with a measured expression. One of them raised an eyebrow. He seemed impressed.

"How old are you?" he said.

"Nineteen," I said.

He looked at Decker.

"Twenty," Decker said.

The man nodded slowly. "Good," he said, and turned back to Logan.

We sat through the meeting and contributed when Logan pointed at us, which he did three times. The first two times, Decker answered first and I backed him up or added something, and the third I answered first, while Decker added his context. It worked the way we had been working together all summer, but now it was the big leagues. It felt almost rehearsed and coordinated, without us ever discussing it. Our dynamic just worked.

—[]—

On the walk back to our desks after the meeting, Decker said, "We should do this full time."

"After college," I said.

"Obviously after college."

Tony was at his desk when we got back, eating something from a takeout container from the fridge. He looked up.

"How was the thirty-second floor," he said, a little hint of irony in his voice, masking a bit of jealousy.

"Good," Decker said, sitting down. “Really good.”

Tony looked at me. I nodded absently and went back to my screen. He went back to his food.

That Friday Logan called us into his office separately and handed each of us an envelope. Inside each was a check for five thousand dollars.

"Interns don't normally get these," he said. "Don't tell the other two."

I found out later that Decker had been unable to hide it from Tony, who had then told Sophie, all before lunch that day.

—[]—

“Oh, by the way,” Decker said that evening as we left the building together. I knew the tone. He waited to talk about anything us-facing until we crossed the threshold out into the world, away from the internship environment.

“What’s up?” I said as we made our normal route to the train.

“I gotta go home tonight, for the weekend,” he said with a little sigh. “Mom and Dad want me home for a thing.”

“Cool,” I said, “Have fun.”

He looked a me, a little narrowly. “You gonna be ok by yourself?”

I smiled. “Shut up.”

He packed a bag when we got home. I sat on his bed watching him. I didn't say anything about not wanting him to go because that would have been a strange thing to say out loud. I knew a little separation couldn’t hurt. I had grown accustomed to him being there, even just his quiet presence. It was the first time I had that kind of connection with someone, and I couldn’t explain it, but I knew I needed to be able to spend time away from each other. I just sat there and watched him pack.

He zipped the bag and looked at me.

"If Tony comes over, do NOT let him sleep in my bed," he said, laughing big.

"Yeah," I said, laughing along with him. “No, fuck that.”

He picked up the bag. Then he leaned down and kissed me once on the cheek before he headed to the door.

“We really are just a regular ass couple now aren’t we?” I said.

He rolled his eyes. “Shut up.”

Then he was gone.

—[]—

Tony showed up that same night, which I hadn't planned for and also wasn't surprised by.

We ordered food and watched something sort of low stakes that we kept in the background while we chatted and played on our phones. I was starting to think that he was surprisingly less annoying than usual. Tony without an audience was a more tolerable version of Tony. He still talked a lot, but the topics included things I hadn't heard from him before, his family in Vermont, his dad who had wanted him to go to a different school, a girl from high school he still thought about. I was half listening when his tone shifted, and the typical Tony came out.

"Hold on," he said, sitting up straight, eyes on his phone.

"She wants to see our dicks," he said.

I looked at him. "What?"

"This Tinder girl. I told her I was hanging out with a friend. She’s super horny, SWEATING for me bro. She's on snap now. She says she’ll show tits if I get my friend to show her our dicks."

He turned the phone toward me for half a second. "Whip it out, bitch." He was already pulling his own waistband down.

"I'm not doing that," I said.

"Do it," he said. He had himself out already, his now-familiar, large cock already half hard and growing. He had trimmed since his last visit. I hated that I knew that.

"Come on," he added, turning the phone toward me so I could see her responses. She was enthusiastic, and horny. That was clear even from a glance.

"Bro," I said.

He looked at me with an expression I can only describe as a golden retriever who had just been told the walk was canceled. It was pathetic. It was effective.

"She specifically asked," he said.

"She asked for two guys?"

"She asked for more." He wiggled the phone.

I looked at the ceiling. "Tony."

"Just join in. You don't even have to do anything."

I exhaled, reaching for my waistband. "Alright, let’s see some titties."

He lit up like I'd handed him a gift. He scooted across the couch until his thigh was against mine, both of our dicks out, and held the phone in front of us. He reached over and grabbed my shaft directly to bring me into frame, and I twitched at the contact, my whole body going briefly rigid. He didn't acknowledge it. Both of our dicks and balls filled  the bottom of the frame, our faces at the top. He snapped a short video while he stroked himself, then added a couple angled pics for good measure.

She escalated us quickly after that. Tony narrated the whole thing. I contributed nothing except my participation, which seemed to be sufficient.

At some point we were fully naked, arms around each other in the most dubiously straight activity I had ever seen. It happened gradually enough that I couldn't point to the moment where it started to feel like Tony was going to fuck me. We were wiggling our dicks, stroking ourselves, talking dirty into the camera. It was fun. Two naked guys on a couch in Murray Hill on a Friday night, sending evidence of themselves to strangers on the internet.

Another message landed from the instigator.

Her: Jerk each other off

We read it together. Then he looked at me with his eyebrows all the way up.

"No chance," I said.

He typed back and shut it down without argument. Three seconds later she was gone.

"You know that could've just been a catfish," I said. "AI is good nowadays."

He stared at where the conversation had been. "I don't even care," he said. "That was fun anyway."

We paused for a second, both wondering independently where the energy was going to take us.

"Let's send one to Decker," Tony said. "Let him see what he's missing."

"Yes," I said immediately.

We held the phone out beneath us, both of us hard, and took the picture from below. I sent it before I even thought about it.

The response came back in under a minute.

Decker: You let him corrupt you.

I laughed harder than I had in weeks, Tony cracking up next to me. Our conversation drifted after that, and we eventually put our junk back into our underwear and hung out a bit longer before Tony finally headed home.

I was alone in the apartment, and it was calm, but a little too quiet. It was like an additional heartbeat was needed to make it whole.

—[]—

The next morning, I woke up feeling like a space was missing in the bed. I cleaned up the place a bit, made coffee, stood at the window. The tree was visible from here, the big one in the small park two blocks east. It had stood out as clearly older than everything around it. Decker and I had noticed it the first week and said we'd go see it and never did. Any time we commented on it, we would change the topic, or have sex, or order takeout food, or some combination of that. We never really went out for walks around our neighborhood. Staying in was easier. We only went out to go to a bar or club or something, usually in a different neighborhood.

But there was no one holding me in place today. I put on shoes and went outside.

It was a Saturday morning in July and the city was moving at its weekend pace. More tourists and less commuters. It was a little too hot already, and I partially regretted leaving the house. I walked for several blocks in various directions. Bought some groceries, and smiled fondly when I saw the sex shop where he had bought me that cock cage. I should wear it for him when he comes back, I thought.

It felt different walking around the city alone. I had so much more energy when I had company. Alone I just felt different. I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t as good. I stopped to eat an ice cream cone, and started to feel a little self conscious eating it by myself, looking like a little kid maybe, until I looked up and realized I had ended up standing in front of the exact big tree I was looking at earlier.

It really was enormous up close, even bigger than it had seemed from the window, which was already big. I stood there and actually laughed out loud at it.

It just kept going up. Right in a park in the middle of Manhattan.

I sat on a bench nearby and called Decker.

He picked up on the second ring.

"Hey," he said. There was background noise behind him, voices somewhere further away.

"I'm at the tree," I said.

A pause. "Ohh, that big one?? You went to it?."

"I went to it.”

“We were supposed to make the trek to that thing together!"

“You missed the bus.”

"How is it?"

"Massive," I said. "We were underselling it this whole time."

He laughed, and I heard him move somewhere quieter. The background voices faded out.

"How's home," I said.

"Fine," he said. "Weird. Everyone's the same." A beat. "My mom keeps asking about school and the internship, but also telling me not to brag around my brothers, since they’re fuckups. And they’re being idiots."

"How many brothers again?"

"Two older, one younger. It's a lot of dudes in one house."

"Sounds familiar," I said.

He was quiet for a second and I could tell he was smiling.

We talked for a while after that, nothing important, the tree, the neighborhood, a thing that had happened at his family dinner the night before that he described in enough detail that I could picture everyone at the table, but forgot it a minute later. I realized at some point that I'd been on the phone for forty minutes without noticing, sitting on a bench under a very large tree, listening to him talk.

"So… Tony last night," he said eventually.

"Did you like the picture?" I said, not as a question.

"Did he pull yours out for you?” he asked, laughing.

"Basically, to be honest."

"He’s sooo gonna fuck a guy this summer."

"I know right."

He had to go before I was ready to let him go. It hadn’t even been a full day, and I knew I was overly attached, but I honestly enjoyed the feeling, even knowing it was something worth watching out for. I sat under the tree for a few more minutes after we hung up before I got up and headed back, satisfied, happy, okay.

—[]—

He came back Sunday night.

I heard the key in the lock and didn't get up from the couch. He came in, dropped his bag, looked around the apartment, like he was checking if everything was still where he'd left it, and came and sat next to me. His thigh was warm against mine immediately.

He threw an arm around me and I leaned into him.

"How was it," I said.

"Good," he said. "Bad. Long."

He moved his hand up to my chest, and we watched whatever was on and didn't talk about the weekend or the tree or anything much really. We just sat there, and I smelled him, and felt the good feelings he gave me flow back into me.

—[]—

Tay showed up on Thursday.

He took the train up from school with just a small backpack. He was tall and black, with a close fade and a wide smile, and he always seemed to make a room feel more relaxed just by walking into it. Simply, he was a friend I had missed. He and Decker shook hands at the door and did the common male association ritual, a nod, a quick fact about oneself, and moving on, silently acknowledging they were buddies now. The quick mutual assessment ritual finished, we went out and got food.

“Show me the cool New York shit,” Tay said as we stepped out onto the sidewalk. He looked around like he was ready for fun. Decker said there was a place on Second Avenue Decker he had been wanting to try.

The restaurant was loud, and good and Tay and Decker found things to talk about without needing me as a bridge, which was a relief I hadn't known I would feel.

Back at the apartment Decker said he had some work to finish and went to his room. Tay and I sat on the couch and he looked at me with raised eyebrows, some sort of expression he had clearly been holding onto for a while at that point.

"Okay," he said.

"Okay what," I said.

"Don't," he said.

I looked at the TV.

"You've been watching him all night," Tay said. "The whole dinner. Every time he said something you were looking at his face, closely. Every time someone walked past the table you checked if he noticed."

I didn't say anything.

"Nick."

“What," I said.

He just waited.

I exhaled. "Yeah it's a thing."

He nodded, giving me the silence.

"Since when," he said.

"Like, the first week here basically."

His eyebrows went up. "The whole summer?"

"Yeah."

"And you didn't tell me."

"I didn't know what to say."

He looked at the hallway, Decker's door closed, light coming from underneath it. Then he looked back at me.

"So you like dick now," he said.

"Shut up," I said, laughing.

He grinned. "I'm just asking."

"Shut up, Tay!" I whisper-yelled as I threw a palm over his mouth.

“What?” he mumbled loudly through my hand. “Like he doesn’t know??”

We laughed together and I let him go.

He put his hands up, still grinning, and I looked at the ceiling and felt something I hadn't expected, which was yet more relief. The specific lightness of having said it out loud to someone who knew me, who was still just sitting there grinning about it made it feel like the most easy, manageable thing in the world.

"You should've told me sooner," he said.

"Sorry," I said.

—[]—

The three of us made plans to go out the next night. Tony found out our plans and invited himself along, which was becoming a pattern. But honestly, as annoying as he was, he had bored his way into our souls at that point, and he actually belonged with us. It was like physics. The dude liked us, and we had learned to love him back.

Tony arrived before Decker was home from getting a haircut. We hung out for a bit, with Tony insisting we “pre-game” which basically just meant drinking before drinking, while Tay and I tried to temper his mania.

Tony had been eyeing Decker's room since he arrived.

"Okay," he said at some point, standing up with a focused look on his face. He had thought of something.

"I have an idea."

He walked toward Decker's door.

"No," I said without looking up.

Tony stopped. "You don't even know what I'm going to do."

"Yes I do."

Tony looked at Tay for support. Tay raised his eyebrows with the expression of someone who was interested to see where this went.

Tony quickly pulled his waistband down, and, yet again, exposed his big dick to the room.

“WHAT??” Tay screamed, his laughter coming out forcefully and without control.

Tony looked at us smiling, helicoptering the thing. "I just want to leave him a little present."

“No,” I said.

"On his pillow."

"Absolutely not."

"It's a prank."

"No."

Tony looked at Tay again. "Tell him it's funny."

Tay’s mouth was dropped open. “I thought Nick was exaggerating about you, man.”

"Your little boyfriend wouldn't care," Tony said, already stroking himself, getting hard from the attention.

I smiled internally, hearing the word boyfriend. Tony kept talking, pivoting immediately to logistics, how long it would take, whether Decker would even find it before doing laundry.

Tay was some sort of genius. He engaged Tony in the conversation about logistics. He somehow successfully pivoted into talking about Tony’s balls, and how much jizz he would produce, and then one of them noted that there are two kinds of round pieces of meat on human bodies, balls and tits. The conversation moved on until Tony put his thing away and forgot about it, completely wrapped into the conversation with Tay about the physics of breasts.

By the time Decker got home, no one mentioned the almost prank. Crisis averted.

—[]—

It was Decker's idea to go to a bar in Hell’s Kitchen that he'd heard about from someone at the office. I didn't ask too many questions. Tay was in for anything. Tony showed up in a fitted shirt with his collar open, already talking about the girls he was going to meet, which meant he hadn't looked the place up. Or the neighborhood.

It was gay. Very gay. The music was loud, the crowd was dense, and the lighting made everyone look either invisible or really sexy. Tony stood just inside the entrance with his mouth slightly open, recalibrating.

"This is a gay bar," he said.

"Oh damn,” Decker said calmly, “Is it?"

Tay was already at the bar ordering. He didn’t care at all.

“Oh, ok, there’s girls here,” Tony said, smiling as he spotted a few ladies’ groups by the bar, loosening up faster than I expected. He went over and attempted a bit of flirting with the first group of girls. He struck out quickly and moved on to another.

The bar was fun and loud and nobody was treating us differently. We just got hit on a few times, by guys, which was honestly kind of cool.

Tay watched the room with quiet amusement, bopping his head a bit when he liked the song.

At some point a guy found Tony on the dance floor. He was around our age, good looking, confident, clearly a gym enjoyer, and he came in from behind Tony and started moving with him. Tony looked back once, clocked what was happening, and turned forward again, a look of shock on his face, but he didn’t move away.

Decker appeared at my shoulder.

"There it is," he said quietly.

The guy's hands found Tony's hips. Tony's hands went down to hold them. He looked around nervously, like he was worried someone would see. When he realized the kind of place he was in, he seemed to internally shrug. He lifted his hands a bit, and kept dancing like an idiot, like you’re supposed to. They were just vibing for a bit, except they weren't just dancing, and the guy leaned in to say something in Tony's ear and Tony laughed, loud and genuinely, his head dropping back.

The guy's arm came around Tony's hip and found his package.

Tony's face did something complicated, his eyes opening wide as his body jerked a bit under the pressure. He was certainly loosened up at this point. Decker and I danced against each other while we watched the show.

Tony’s eyes suddenly went half closed as he leaned back into the dude behind him. He was grinning and grimacing at the same time, like it felt better than he'd wanted to admit. He glanced sideways one last time, checking his surroundings again, and then he stopped checking.

Tay walked up next to me. "I think he's into it."

"I know," I said.

I was just starting to think Tony was finally going to land his gay destiny, when out of nowhere a girl appeared, one of the girls he had approached earlier, and she walked straight up to Tony and said something. He stepped away from the gay hunk behind him.

Two seconds passed, and she started making out with him. The gay guy from before kept dancing, finding another ass to grind on, dissolving back into the crowd without ceremony.

I turned to Decker.

"Damn," I said.

"Yeah," he said, watching Tony's hand move to the girl's waist, already fully committed, already somewhere else entirely. "We almost had him."

Tay had been watching the whole sequence next to Decker and me from the beginning. He looked at both of us with an expression of humored appreciation, like he had just witnessed something that confirmed every theory he had ever held about people.

He raised his glass.

—[]—

We got home late, the three of us, Tony having disappeared with the girl. Tay took the couch. Decker and I went to his room and lay in the dark.

"He said boyfriend," I said.

Decker was quiet.

"Tony," I said. "Earlier tonight. When he was trying to get Tay to let him jerk off on your pillow as a prank."

“When he was trying to WHAT?” Decker demanded quietly.

“Don’t worry. We stopped him in time.”

He paused, registering the relief.

“Boyfriend, eh?” he said, falling into the bed.

"Just thought it was funny," I said.

He was quiet for a moment.

"Yeah," he said. And then his arm came around me and we didn’t say anything else.

Loved this chapter. Truly loving this novel Cody! The first chapters were hot, as their relationship began. This feels like they’re settling into something real now finally. All of their feelings and emotions are being recognized and confirmed. I’m glad we get to be the first set of eyes on your novel, this was a really fun chapter to read!

Ryner Blave

I just want to add, I know you write a lot of erotica, and god knows I, and so many of us love it. But, your ability to write such deeply emotional characters and moments, like Nick going out by himself, to the tree, around NY, is a testament to your ability as a writer, beyond just writing erotica. I’m truly so excited to see where this novel goes, just to say it again

PeninsulaBoy

Wonderful to know this will be a novel. Painful to know that the chapters will be sporadic, though when they're as fun to read as this one it makes the wait worth it. Loving the evolution between the guys and my dirty mind is running amok with ideas for Tay and especially Tony. 😈

ADBnSD

Was half expecting Decker to lock Nick up and take the key with him for the weekend! Great read. Keep the chapters coming!

James

My thoughts exactly! The cage!

ADBnSD

Maybe next time, after Tony corrupting Nick with the dick pics this time.

Mark

I loved seeing Decker’s reaction to Tony realizing they went to a gay bar. Even better was Decker and Nick hoping to see Tony go for it with the muscle hunk on the dance floor. I think it would be fun to see the two contrive other opportunities for Tony to give it a go with a guy. At first, I thought they would try setting up Tony with Tay.

Patrick

Amazing!
