I kinda understand how Do-hee felt because he's always protected her and been nice to her so she must've pretty much forgotten what he really is/does. And she thought that those clocks were just for interior, so it probably her shocked to find out that all of them represented people, and that her father was there too at some point. Also, she's never really seen what goes down when he ends a contract lol, so her being scared is pretty valid
