After some required relief on August, I started feeling mind boosted again and could resume some stuck ideas and tons of lines of code to get Obsidian ready for the next round of contents 🤤☕☕☕☕

Few pieces are still in progress after a long time, I feel September will be a more productive month and I ill get these frames finally out soon ^^

⭐Obsidian Lust

As shared in the late update for Vivian's game, these weeks have been (and still) intense in programming and improving the flow of the gameplay and quest setup, opening game progress for non-debug mode and work further in the chapters, which will rely on an arranged list of quests categories to grow Vivian's empire.

Which contents are planned for this month?

New dungeon lee and new maiden

Fix/Improve some tagged interactive spots for maidens and gam-eover scenes.

Flirting with king Dain, first frames with Avaris Princess.

Some new animation for Seluna.

progress further with remasters: dryad, lamias (stage2) and alraune.

Add more locations, generic city shops, looting, capture kuns and exotic monstergirl places.

Making a good use of the morning coffee boosts, I am working on several plugin updates to unlock new features for the game:

More battler classes for Hireling Manager: bring back the Guards (keepers), magicians (witches) and priestesses (acolytes/cultists)

Allow these three classes to evolve, upgrade to variant classes, skills and equipment to make full use of the recently added armory, closet halls and libraries.

Filter unit classes: Monstergirls for Alraune, human units in the main halls.

Besides using these units in battle, there will be many of them spread around the halls, as you convert dungeon prisoners, to tickle some witches in the library, tease the keepers, and let the cultists play their tickle rituals to summon succubuses, and feed Yina's Lust.

Two chapters down, two more to go!

After Varyndor and Lunareth I have mapped the huge list of stages spread in the game in a big single event, now making use of the hacks of the recently updated plugins, I plan to address all quest, jobs, upgrades and chapter contents through the QuestLog and main event as the backbone of the game progress, to haste the production and make future updates and extra quests easier to install. These changes would avoid dealing with the common issues I learned from Amirian's random quest generators.

Next quests will come with some (safe) M content which also can be locked for those who prefer running the game with female characters.

Darkhold: Seduce a king and take over the hold

Avaris: Lure the princess to become Vivian's devote worshiper, and use her loyalty to persuade the king to hand over the kingdom.

ℹ After done with the latest recovery cycle, I can trust I will be able to work hard on the whole project until December, then Obsidian Lust will be ready for a public release, and a first finished version for all early access supporters.

⭐Next quarter roadmap

Our community contents and games won't be my only priority next months.

As required by the late extended recovery stages this summer I had to pause all progress on other stuff, and now I would resume the remaining works started, including blender 3d learnings, prepare some website and self hosted community contents for next year, and kick harder on programming using other engines, for web browsers and Godot, as intended since years.

I would not be able to bring anything new besides animated sprites and rpgmaker games until next year, thus I would work on building a solid base to start working on all those new contents for you all, guys ^^

There's also some general poll I want to share soon this month, about receiving an invite link to join the galleries of the hosted site from next 2026... Times are changing, and I need to prepare.
