Hi Kayla! I'm watching you live now XD

Vero chan

I didn't click on the video yet, but I'm 100% sure it will be one hell of a ride! You don't know how much frustrated I was that I wasn't able to watch those episodes in live with you all, because I was seriously looking forward to seeing your reaction to Goku giving up and entrusting everything to Gohan. I like that it was so unexpected but at the same time kind of foreshadowed that Gohan would've have his moment, it was subtle but not impossible to predict, and that was the true reason Goku felt so calm and collected, because he had been aware of his son's strength all along, and just trusted him so much he wasn't even worried about giving up to Cell. Gohan's transformation is my absolute favourite scene in DBZ, and part of the reason why is the BEAUTIFUL song (Unmei no Hi - Tamashii to Tamashii) that goes with it: I love that song even to this day, and it never fails to trigger a lot of feelings in me.

Hey ! Great Reaction as usual ! Just an advice for next week, you might want to do 8 episodes instead or the now "regular" 7, it would be perfect for your own entertainment i think (then again up to you, i know this may not be possible for schedule reason)

Ermin Dedić

Waited for you to react to this exact moment since the start. Its the reason why Gohan is my favorite character.

that scene of Piccolo scolding goku while Cell beats up gohan definitely was used to start the whole "goku is a bad dad" but I always thought it was a meme, crazy people take it seriously. I mean goku had good intentions, just... a slight miscalculation lol but he still was kinda right at the end

YAY IT'S HERE! This is one of my fav moments and I'm so happy you're finally here and enjoyed it the same way i did back in the day. So many things to say about how great these eps were but then again just glad you started this journey and I'm being able to watch your reaction to this series along with everyone ❤

Love the reactions Kayla feels like you understand Goku's character more than any reactor imo. Love that Goku out of everybody is only one who truly believes in Gohan. Knowing someone believes in you goes a long way in anything you do it gives you confidence in yourself.

oh I love to hear that!! I saw so much hype for certain characters, but heard little hype (by comparison) in general for Gohan (over the years I mean). I already loved him before now ofc, but wow this moment was everything <3

Even though Goku was clearly weaker than Cell, the fight he delivered remains, to me, one of the most breathtaking solo performances I’ve ever witnessed in a shonen. He was at the height of his abilities flawless both technically and tactically. And then came Gohan. Finally. The moment that brought everything full circle the culmination of everything that had been building since the very beginning of Dragon Ball Z. Also what’s always struck me is how the same person Future Gohan and Present Gohan—could end up so different. Same soul, same golden genetic, same potential… yet such a gap in strength. Ofc the tragedy is that in the future, Goku died too soon. He never had the chance to pass on that torch, to prepare Gohan to carry the immense weight of hope that Goku always embodied. But here in the present, he did. He pushed Gohan, trained with him and more than anything else he believed in him when no one else did, not even Piccolo, the one who thought he knew Gohan better than anyone, Goku believed. He saw what others couldn’t That’s what makes him the greatest, not just as a fighter, but as a father, as a mentor, and as the unwavering symbol of hope. Long story story short Goku is the GOAT. Always was🙏 Noooow… side note: okaaay Goku, maybe you could’ve told your kid about the plan beforehand, dropping that mid fight was a little wild. 😅 And perhaps the one thing he overlooked was that Gohan never truly loved fighting, not like he did. That might have been his only mistake.

I did some research before getting a gaming chair, and they are designed to look like racecar seats. It was supposed to be a fad for racing game immersion, but apparently they caught on and became known as "gaming chairs", even though they are designed for the safety of racecar drivers and not for comfort. Instead of getting a gaming chair, I bought an ergonomic office chair. It is very comfortable and I can sit for long periods of time. I also bought one for my son and a third one to replace his gaming chair at his mom's, and he says they are way more comfortable. These were about $125 each, but they have a foot rest, the lumbar pillow, and they can recline very far back. Not sponsored lol, but something like that is what I would recommend.

The insert song during Gohan's rage is the best in this version. The others simply don't hit the same. Speaking of hits, I can't how Cell is tweaking after just two of Gohan's punches 😂

After this stretch of episodes you have to name your son "Gohanlu" 😂

junkrat

Poetic Justice? Is that the term you've been looking for? Lol. I was gonna say poignant, but apparently that has more to do with evoking sadness. Apparently I've been using poignant wrong lol.

animaechan

That happens to me kind of often 😹 I realise oh crap. I haven’t really been using this word right hahahaha
