Random theory, could it be that the reason the androids in future trunks' timeline were so different is because Goku was already dead, so dr gero had no reason to "make em stronger" that's why trunks claimed they were weaker in his timeline And it seems like since Goku was dead already, and dr gero designed all these androids for the sole purpose of killing Goku, the androids kinda flipped, like their purpose in life was over so they just started killing everyone And their was no need to release 16 or 19 because Goku is already dead So maybe the reason that they were so peaceful and didn't kill anyone in the current timeline is because Goku was alive, so they had some kind of purpose in a human way Idk why I find this theory so interesting :)

Thank you for 9 episodes. Vegeta breaking the punching machine and the Satan movie still get me. You gotta love Goku for taking it with humor.

My favorite thing about tournaments in your db journey has been you theorizing who might win and lose, seeing you get invested in the tournaments and matches is so fun, it's so good to see it back ❤. I enjoyed today big dbz Saturday so much thank you

I love those little moments of vegeta and Goku hanging, even Vegeta putting his hand in his shoulder to brag about trunks beating goten. it feels like they are old friends

I've been watching your reactions since Dragonball and have enjoyed the ride. I'm curious who are your top 5 favorite DB/DBZ characters so far? Love the reaction can't wait for DBZ next week.

Mecha Saiyan

I've always hated how the English dub changes character dialogue for no reason whatsoever. The part where Goten says "Kamekameha" instead of "Kamehameha" and Trunks correcting him was completely changed. In the English dub, Goten says "Kamehameha" correctly and Trunks simply asks him if he knows how to control it. I especially hate this specific dialogue change because in the video games, Goten uses his "Kamekameha", and the people who only saw the English dub would have no idea why it was spelled "incorrectly".

I know these were recorded a month ago so you're probably past caring about it at this point. But in the video for 215+216 you talk about not liking the idea of a "Dai Dai Kaio" when we already have the Dai Kaio. I have two theories about why the Kaioshin was introduced when the Dai Kaio was already a thing. First theory is that the animators came up with the idea of the Dai Kaio for the anime when they were trying to come up with ideas for filler, and at the time Toriyama hadn't come up with the idea for the Kaioshin yet or hadn't got to drawing that part of the story yet. So Toriyama came up with the Kaioshin separately. Second theory is that Toriyama had already started planning the Kaioshin and mentioned it to the animators and they used that idea as inspiration for the filler, but he didn't give them the full details so what they came up with didn't match what he was thinking. In either case, I think that later on when Toriyama started fleshing out the Tenkaichi Budokai plot, he didn't want to re-use the Dai Kaio for a few reasons. Firstly, he wanted his identity to be a mystery, and if he used the Dai Kaio then Goku and the viewer would recognise him in the anime unless he somehow disguised himself (which would feel a bit cheap since Kami already did that previously). Secondly, because the Dai Kaio hadn't appeared in the manga yet but had appeared in the anime, which could make it a bit awkward. And thirdly, because the Dai Kaio has a much less serious attitude than he wanted for the arc. So it was more a case of introducing the character because the plot needed him to be a certain way, rather than introducing for world-building purposes.
