The final results of this poll will NOT necessarily be my end choice. I know the majority of people would like to see Super first, I just want to know by how much.

If I always went with what the majority wants, I would never have got a chance to react to some of my favorite shows. Still, you are all my amazing supporters and I appreciate you being here so I want to see the results if the poll and (more importantly) hear feedback.

This weekend (26th) I'll be reacting to a DBZ movie on Saturday + the last 4 episodes!! I hope you can be there :))

If not, don't worry, all the reactions are here, easily accessible from Patreon, to watch at your own convenience.

On the last DBZ post I make, I will ask you if you have any final questions for me (about original DB and/or Z) and I will answer those next Saturday (2 Aug) in a bonus DBZ stream + react to some AMVs etc.

Gt !!!

AFLO

GT is quick and fun could only imagine your reaction to it lol. Plus Z was so intense for so long imo would best for some cool down. I like super more too I'm willing to be patient and wait.

Trencha

From a selfish viewer perspective I'd like to see Super first, simply because I haven't seen GT and it wouldn't feel right for me to watch reactions to a show I haven't seen, but I have seen Super. From a "what would be the best as a reactor following the story" perspective, I think if you're going to watch GT, then it's best to watch it before Super, so that the experience is more in line with what other Dragon Ball fans experienced. Returning to Super after GT might be a bit jarring, though - for people who watched the shows as they were coming out there was a lot more time to digest and assimilate GT's place in the continuity before we got Super.

Tiago Oliveira

Personally i think that's really up to you, if you wanna watch GT first, go ahead, most of us watched the shows on release order. I just hope that when you do start Super you also watch the 2 movies that came out before Super.

Mecha Saiyan

As excited as I am for Super, I think it would be better to watch GT first. Even though it's not canon, there might be some references or easter eggs that you might not understand if you skipped GT. Same thing goes for some of the movies, even though, in my opinion, some movies can be skipped, especially if you're planning on playing the video games. Also, for the sake of getting the "true experience", watching GT before Super would be the way to go. I just hope you don't take an 18 year break between GT and Super.

Dan F

As long as you stay on schedule and don't burn out, I guess GT would be fine. But I do think there's a legitimate chance of burnout, especially in the first half of GT. I PROMISE you will enjoy Super more in the end.

Gt!!!!

Mitchell Gant

I agree, and there's also the Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return! movie between Z and those two.

Lyoko

Gt but only due to me preferring the order of release. One thing I am worried is how painfully boring Gt is. You will probably be burnt out from continuing any further, but that's just how I see it

chevalierkraken

Gt, it's just better to watch first. Not just for personnal taste. It's feel more like the continuation of the anime (super feel really like a sequel made years after)

Jason

GT got completely retconned so I'd view it more as filler

Di

It feels more natural to watch GT before super and this is coming from someone that enjoys super more than GT. I think you should watch 2 specific dragon ball movies and then continue on Super episode 28 because the movies are A LOT better than the poorly animated early episodes that retell the movies. The titles are kinda spoilery.

Adams

if you are going to watch both, id say start with GT you would enjoy it more

Pokapoka

Im fine with either choice you end up with! But if i have to give an opinion is that It'd be more natural for you to go with GT first since it came out right after Z, so i think it's more natural and makes more sense to watch as it came out originally like most of us did. So you can finish the "og run" starting from db to z and ending with gt so once you get to super you start all fresh with the modern material but I'm totally okay starting first with super too, I'm gonna keep following your journey with the series either way <3

Grover Monster

GT completes the original anime trilogy of the 80s/90s. It's fun, ridiculous, much more emotional, with more of the family dynamics. Highly recommend first over Super no contest.

Espada0

i'd say go with DB GT, i am always for release order. and as you have stated in the past, it gives you time to close the gap between Twitch and YT.

AFLO

I could say the same for Super.

Quark AI

I like Super more then GT, but I think it would be better to follow the order of release, so I vote for GT :)

Nathan Drake

guys what if she watches Daima first? It's the official sequel after the Buu and the last work of Toriyama.

ElninoHiuu

yeah, that Son Goku and His Friends Return! movie is very good and fun

Delinger

Don't care too much for GT, but it makes more sense to watch it first. It's short anyway.

Cesar

no you couldn't lol

junkrat

I'd say go GT first, then Super for the OG feeling. But of course, I'd say do DBZ Abridged before either lol. Unpopular opinion, but it's mine lol.

Diego

GT does not feel like dragon ball to me

Eric

I joined specifically to see if you’d be doing GT next. I’m so happy GT is leading the poll haha. I think it would be best, my own bias aside, you’ve always said you prefer to do things in release order as much as possible, and experience these series in the way fans in Japan got to experience it. Doing GT first would be very much in line with that. Also while yes, modern material does not follow the GT story, GT is still big in Dragon Ball culture and community. GT stuff is still all over the video games, GT figures still get released new every year, tons of fans still make GT fan art. You’ll have full context of all of those things, and be able to dive into the DB community/fandom on a much deeper level I think if you have the GT experience in your pocket, once you’re at that stage.

Menar

I do prefer GT over super, but moreover it makes more sense to me beacause GT has an ending when it's not the case fo super, so it's better to look at a finished series before a continuing one. Also I'm pretty sure that you would like GT and I don't know if you are going to react to super's films or super's episode since it's the equivalent for the first two arcs. I hope GT will win the poll :p

Ernesto Pacheco Llamas

Well, if GT wins, it's fine, because if you get bored with Dragon Ball GT, you can go straight to DRAGON BALL SUPER, because thanks to Super, it was able to bring back the brilliance of what DRAGON BALL was in general. Note> although we must rescue from DRAGON BALL GT the epic ending and villains that it offered us

Austin Kilgore

Oh I really hope you go straight to Super and skip in GT lol I really don’t like GT personally
