the episode with Gohan and piccolo training was cute, it gave me nostalgia and the more time it passes, the more I like his arc of getting back in shape. Poor dinosaur tho, imagine waking up and your ass is gone? 😂

Mecha Saiyan

I remember how I felt when I saw these episodes. I didn't like the fact that they were cheapening the achievement of becoming SSJ for the first time, however, I accepted it because I understood that they were trying to build up the other universe fighters to make them a credible challenge for the tournament. On top of that, seeing a female Super Saiyan for the first time after so many years, and then following it with a "female Broly" right after, it felt like they were doing too much too quickly. Like putting a hat on a hat. As excited as I was for Kale and Caulifla, and as much as liked their designs, I wish they didn't have to rush these moments.

I still don't like these episodes that were produced to allow the manga to catch up a bit with the anime. Roshi's ultra-perverted episode was criticized in Japan; it was over the top. The girl who transforms in brolette because she's flirting with her girlfriend 😩 The myth of the Super Saiyan is tarnished, and when we asked Toriyama about it, he said that the Saiyans of Universe 6 have more S-cells due to their atmosphere 🤤 Gohan and Goku's training was cool though 🥰 Can't wait for next week 💪

people are still calling them girlfriends? only one non canon throw away line in the english dub implied that. they are just called sisters in all canon material.

Loved the Gohan Piccolo training session reminded me of early Z. Favorite part was Goku vs Gohan. Loved Goku smiling proud that Gohan is finally back!! Then making Gohan team captain leading universe 7 was such great moment he always believes in him and you can tell that gave Gohan confidence. Goku having Frieza idea was on brand most of the team is former villians of Goku fits right in lol. It adds another layer of intrigue to the tournament. Love the reactions Kayla❤️excited for next week potential tournament time.

Super has a lot of flaws but that Gohan and Goku episode is one my favorite episodes, also your reaction at the end literally choking was funny 😆 Also the whole Freeza thing was crazy too, imagine our reaction at the time watching every week lol

I have to agree and say that Gohan shouldn’t have told Goku to hide that they could be erased if they lose from the other fighters. It makes sense not to tell the public so it wouldn’t cause panic but the fighters on the team need to know the stakes and need more motivation. Goku’s friends have been through world ending threats before and it’s better to be told beforehand to let it sink in before finding out at the tournament.
