First time I watched DBS it had moments where I would drop the show and then I would hear buzz in social media that would make me pick it up again. Goku's ultra instinct was one of those moments, EVERYONE was talking about it, and with good reason, the music, the animation, Goku's design, it is so cool and easily one of the best parts of DBS for me. The white hair would have been cool, kinda like Luffy's G5 but more edgy 😂 speaking of hair, the bangs look cute!

I still remember when those episodes were released, the internet went crazy, especially because there was already a lot of hype building up for the Goku vs. Jiren fight. But I remember watching them late Saturday night because the websites were crashing haha. I spent the whole night discussing in groups and creating theories about this new mysterious transformation/technique of Goku, since this arc hadn't been released in the manga yet, and also what Frieza would do in the next episode. It was a very fun time.

First things first bangs look amazing btw.I had not watched dragonball for years hearing UI broke the internet so I wanted to see for myself and haven't looked back ever since. First time seeing I was amazed the music design is so incredible. His eyes chico they never lie. It is so different to any transformation instead of usual rage Goku gives off almost scary calmness elegance not saying a word letting his movements do the talking. Then the Ultra Instinct theme so iconic get goosebumps everytime. When you hear that first note you know Goku is in that mode and you better run gives off Final Boss vibes.

I had my ups and downs with Super, but when 109+110 came out, it was the closest i felt to the hype i had has a kid whenever i watched/rewatched kid Gohan turn SSJ2 against Cell. I already knew about the form before these episodes came out, because i remember a official image of UI Goku was revealed before the episodes to create hype, and it worked in my opinion. What i didn't know the weekend these episodes came out, was that there would be 2 episodes in the same day, which was a very pleasant surprise to me. I still listen to that UI theme song every once in a while.

Hello animaechan, i love your reaction thanks a lot. it was a special 1-hour episode broadcast in Japan. It was split into episodes 109/ 110 on other platforms. The expression "brok the internet" comes from this, and I'm not exaggerating (streaming sites like Crunchyroll stopped working because of the number of people watching the episode). Even people who hate Dragon Ball wanted to see the episode. The fight, the new music, the animation, l ultra instint,...that was great

Episode 106 is, for me, one of the worst of the tournament because of Tien Shinhan's treatment, which was generally disappointing: his splitting technique has the same weakness as before, his Shin Kikoho is drawn with a ruler (remember when he fought Cell and the damage it caused?), and he only eliminated one participant. Anyway... On the other hand, Master Roshi is MVP.

I watched Super years after it's premier, so didn't know that these will be "special" episodes. It looked neat, and I was intrigued, but I wouldn't say that my mind was blown. However, in the remaining episodes you will learn more about what this is, and only then did I get truly onboard with it, with more pieces of the puzzle found.

I didn't think Freeza's attack on Gohan was for real, it wouldn't have made sense, obviously, if he really throws out Gohan, then all remaining universe 7 members will jump him and throw his ass off to avoid getting backstabbed. He would have to wait longer, with less teammates left that are more fatigued if he truly wants to try some funny buisness. Gohan's damage resisting ability is something Super struggles wit , him getting one shotted by Freeza in Resurrection F, and then here getting boxed in by that Yardrat was lame from someone who could put up a fight against Buu. The fight against the poisonus dog was a much better depiction of his current limits, along with what's coming in the remaining episodes.

HI, so i will give 3 different perspectives on these episodes. - My 1st time watching these episodes. - Rewatching these episodes especially 109-110. - Watching your reaction to these episodes. - So 1st time i saw the Tournament of Power Arc i was excited even tho it has some problems, one of the problems being was my EXPECTATIONS, i expected a lot of cool and interesting participants and what did we end up with well most of them are fodder. now for 109-110, i am not a fan of Goku using the spirit bomb here and i am not a fan of that how he awakens the transformation, BUT the form itself is really cool, the design the aura it's all really really good, this is so good and so hype i doubt if they remake this it will have the same effect. One could almost say it is ICONIC... people used to edit the Ultra instinct music in anything whenever someone dodges it truly became a cultural phenomenon. - Me Rewatching these episodes well now i am not being disappointed cuz i have seen it and i know what is coming, so most of these episodes are not worth rewatching in my personally opinion. now for 109-110 it is cool see these episodes because you know what it leads to but now i am looking at even the smallest thing, such as animation some shots look very good while others look very meh it is very inconsistent, and i wish it was better, i wish they had better time but this is still by far the best we have seen in super so far. - Your reaction to these episodes made it all worth watching, i was laughing when seeing ur face as you watched the zeon's being handled like toddlers, like '' Really these are the absolute strongest these kids that don't understand or can't keep up with whats happing and need the grand priest to tell them everything ..... REALLY. and one more thing i wanna say about Tournament of Power Arc, something that really bothers me while i was watching then and now, they cut to the audiance member to explain everything to us, this is basically like a narrator shoving info down our throats just 100 times worse imo, so if someone breathes or farts someone on the bench will make a comment about it, and it's not like they have anything interesting or useful to say they are either just wasting time or making sure even toddlers can follow what's happening in the ring.
