I don't think i would ever rewatch this movie on my own lol but it was fun here and I'm glad you enjoyed it. For me this is one of the low points of the franchise but there are things I think are good and Hugh Jackman has always given his best, in performance and body... Good lord he is jacked here 😂 but yeah, I'm excited for you to see the next ones. Also, I did laugh at your DBS joke 😂

Loved the reaction and your enjoyment of the film, it's kind of a guilty pleasure for mine since me and brother would always watch this movie growing up whenever it was on tv(unsurprisingly we loved the brother dynamic lol) As for the comic books the film were loosely based off, the biggest ones are the 6 issue Origin comic book that detailed Logan's childhood and first mutation similar to the first 5 minutes of the film(the movie was almost a one to one comparison outside of a few exceptions to the comic), the Marvel Comics Presents #72-84 that has Wolverine joining Weapon X and the adamantium procedure, and the Wolverine: Origins comic #1-5, and #10-15 that goes into Logan's history with Team X

Wait, I just reread those books again to check and it's better to just read the 6 issue Origins (Wolverine: The Origin) comic book, the X-Men Origins: Wolverine single issue, and X-Men Origins: Sabertooth single issue. These are more character focused and are much easier to understand/read while the other ones I recommended in my previous comment have too much of the 'shared universe' (there's a lot of info and characters that don't get explained at all unless you're already familiar with x-men comics) that might confuse new readers a bit too much lol.
