SPOILER below! Make sure to watch the episodes and the the reaction first before reading...

...

IMAGINE how cool would it be if (in the context of the fictional world of Dr. Stone) a society existed a million years ago that created the Medusa and transferred their consciousness somehow into that and launched it into space, because they predicted some terrible calamity to befall the earth. Then after searching and searching for a "host species" they basically "found themselves" again (but had forgotten who made them and therefore didn't realize they were "back" to the same planet, Earth, although a whole different earth of course).

It's not like the people on Earth would be the "same people" after all, a million or something years later, but I think that would be pretty cool!

Fun thing that I read: "Earth experiences ice ages in recurring 100,000-year cycles". So in my head canon the same society that made the medusa could've been "buried" by multiple ice ages and other calamities. But imagine if Senku goes far enough back in the time machine to see who made the medusa! I'd watch that movie... 🤣🤣
