I actually like the that your not excusing everything Simon does. I will tell you, a lot of the fandom will excuse him for everything though and villainize Wilhelm. We all know that Wilhelm is far from innocent here and has messed up a lot but Simon has way more control in their lives than Wilhelm does. Wilhelm is just doing what he can to be able to function. I love how fast these reactions are coming out. I feel the same way I did in the last episode about August and Sara. Also just to answer the question if Wille has a roommate, he doesn't. When he first go to the school, they gave him a single bedroom. Then Erik died and they had no idea how to comfort him so they moved him to a bigger two person room but still no roommate. It was a long time ago but I just remember one person commenting the bigger room was for him and his grief, funny but wrong.

Oh totally, we’re not biased with anyone and would call out if a character is in the wrong. Haha yup been reacting almost everyday to this show because it’s good! August and Sarah are cute but we’re so conflicted at the same time about their relationship 🥲 I figured Wille prob doesn’t have a roommate given he is the nation’s crown prince. So he was transferred to a bigger room to comfort him but he didn’t get a roommate at all lol what’s the point then 😭

So he could look at the bed on the other side and remember he's all alone? LOL. No idea except for show reason to get him on the bottom floor so August could see and record them. Erik talked about having to share his first 2 years at Hillerska on episode 1x1. I guess because Wilhelm started the school late everyone already had a roommate. For someone who's main issues is loneliness, it wasn't a great plan by the school.
