RIP TO MY HUSBANDS! 😭

Really interesting changes in this episode. Some that I really enjoyed and some that I'm still not sure how I feel about... LOLLoved Toph and Aang's moments with Kyoshi and Yangchen. Not sure how I feel about the changes to Jet's story. Was NOT expecting that all his friends would be killed off. I knew his story would end in Ba Sing Se but didn't expect they'd actually definitively say that he's dead, unlike how it was open ended in the original. I also didn't expect them to kill off my second husband Professor Zei LOL 🥲 At least in the cartoon he got to stay in the library and explore it for the rest of his life HAHAI'm glad they included the kidnapping of Appa and were still able include Toph's incredibly difficult choice in having to save everyone over helping Appa. It's such an emotional point in Aang's arc in Ba Sing Se and an important story that shows how deep his bond is with Appa. So I'm glad they didn't skip it!With only a few episodes left, I wonder if the emotional toll of Appa's absence and their eventual reunion will still hit the same. But let's see!!
