And that's a wrap on Season 2!! 💯

Overall, I really enjoyed this season. It's not perfect and there's some things that I definitely feel could have been better. But I genuinely believe this production did the absolute best that they could with what they had. 💖I really wish we could have had a full 8 episodes to flesh things out more. Coming out of Season 1, I actually was hoping future seasons could have up 10 episodes.But I feel like the budget and episode constraints is what really caused the story to suffer. They did a fantastic job condensing and weaving all the storylines together, and I think on its own it does a good job at telling a full and cohesive story for new fans.But for OG fans, it's hard not to feel what's missing. The Drill. Bosco. The library being in the desert. Even though they were able to implement the storyline of Appa being kidnapped, it unfortunately didn't have the same emotional gut punch and emotional reunion because it all happens in such a short amount of time.

At the end of the day, I really think this adaptation could have shined more if Netflix didn't impose budgetary restraints and episode limits. I wish they invested more into it, especially since it's widely known how beloved this story and these characters are. But huge credit to the cast and crew and production for doing the best that they could to bring as much of this story to life.Looking forward to how they wrap things up in Season 3!!! 🤩What did you guys think of this season?
