That confession scene with father was so heartbreaking 😭💔

I kind of knew going into this episode that it would be emotional, but it still hit so hard. You can really feel how conflicted and heartbroken and scared Tanrak is. The panic, the fear, the overthinking, all of it. Any queer person who lived most of their formative years in the closet know that feeling well. This show has been such a beautiful representation of what real queer people go through when they grow up in a religious environment. From Barth who's had his faith shaken a long time ago, to Tanrak who's facing it now after having his faith so deeply engrained in his life since he was little. This is what is so sad about the problematic teachings of the church and how it can cause so much trauma and emotional damage for young queer people. Even with Father Arnon, you can see how much he genuinely cares for and is concerned for Tanrak, and yet he still frames his love for Barth as something that's a sin that he has to repent for. It's such a painful, difficult thing to navigate.

Just one more episode left. Can't wait to see how the story wraps up!
