It's so good. These are hard topics to get right in a TV show and I feel they nailed it. This episode also tells us that we often don't know the full context of any situation. Sana feels like everybody is racist and hateful but didn't understand that her own hatefulness is what makes people hateful towards her. Like when we see Sanas phone goes off during a conversation "time for prayer" and everybody turns quiet. She thinks they are quiet because they're judging her, but in reality people just don't understand how to react in that situation. A lot of subtle writing here. And she automatically assumed Isak got hit because of homophobia because she heard it from a rumor earlier in the show, but it was Isak becoming jealous. We know very little about the Mikael and Even situation. Only that long before Even met Isak, he tried to kiss Mikael and Mikael freaked out because he is muslim. So Even fell in a downward spiral, posting homophobic quaran verses on social media to prove that what he did to Mikael was a bad thing (probably his bipolar disorder talking). But Even essentially fell out of the boys club, stopped talking to them. But we don't really know why Isak got jealous of Even and Mikael together. That is exactly what this show is trying to prove. We see things from Sanas perspective and she DOES NOT have all the knowledge and answers. So she started assuming it was homophobia, making up her own answers. Sorry for the wall of text. This show goes deep and I could write for hours about it 😅 But as always I appreciate your reaction 🥰🙏

Omg sorry late reply, I totally forgot about the Mikael thing from Season 3 but damn knowing the context now and seeing the effects of it in Season 4 is crazy. Wish we could've seen flashbacks of that though, would love to see more of Mikael and Even moments. 😁 And thank you for always being here Joe!!
