Zombeh Picnic - Working with Weebl! (Patreon)

Hey guys!

As you may know, the catchy song featured in Zombeh Picnic was done by the great Weebl!

In order to come up with the song, our first step was a call with Jonti Picking (MrWeebl) to brainstorm ideas.

We had various ideas to bounce around—not all of them were Halloween-related—but we landed on bringing back some zombeh (zombie) action. At some point someone suggested it be about zombeh but really happy. We literally blinked and Jonti was already playing something and singing the first line, ‘zombehs, zombehs, having a laugh…’

The call lasted 15 minutes and he’d already done 70% of the track. Jonti is more synth than man.

True to form, he finished the entire song in one sitting (just a few hours) on a live stream later that week!
