Removal of the Unlock feature (Patreon)

I've received criticisms concerning the removal of the Unlock feature from the Public version of the GGGB JDMOD ; I want to explain why I did it:

  • When I created this Patron page, I wanted to be able to thank my patrons. In order to do that, I needed to have something to give them. It felt like the smallest thing I could remove from any of my mods/walkthroughs.

  • I don't like this feature: This mod was always supposed to be purely a gallery: a way to avoid needing a save per scene, not a cheap way to watch the new scenes without playing this great game. GGGB is more than just the adult scenes.

  • I added it for testing purposes and removing it has always been in the back of my mind. The last Public release included a lot of improvements ; improvements I always wanted to do and found the motivation to after creating my Patreon page. I was confident the mod could leave the Beta stage and it didn't bother me for the second to remove the unlock feature.

Personally, the branching in the game has become unwieldy for me. I've got so many saves for the different branches that it's become hard for me to keep up with especially with some only getting updated once ever 6 months or more. So, I've started only keeping up with two different branches and using your mod, to check out the other stuff. I pledged to you simply because I wanted you to keep making the mod. I don't care what rewards you offer as long as I have access to the different game mods one way or another.

I've stopped playing all the paths long ago and just enjoy the scenes via the Gallery, but in regards to the unlock mode I dont mind it but I would like a return of the 'old' unlock all button (yea Im that lazy). :)

Sorry. The old Unlock button won't return ; I want the mods to feel like galleries. I've made some improvements to the Unlock feature in the TT JDMOD though and, if you guys like them, I'll add them to the other JDMODs.

Would it be possible for it to remember what I've unlocked previously by using the button, it feels a bit redundant to keep having to unlock the same scene multiple times over. :) Or as a backup solution have the scene description view-able prior to unlocking, they seem vague'ish enough to not spoil too much for whoever is actually manually playing the game :D
