I’m amazed I haven’t seen more fold-away magazines! They seem like the perfect kind of twiddly bit to stick on a gun for some visual interest, especially in a sci-fi setting and at least somewhat practical, having your magazine out of the way until it’s party time without fully unloading. It’s probably not practical at all or it would’ve taken off, but just for rule of cool we should’ve seen more of them!
