In the first phase of the Chunin Exam, even though Suzuki left the venue to go to the Land of Waves by himself and left his copy inside the room, no one could see that he wasn't the real one except for Hinata. Of course, since she spent all her time observing him, she noticed. Yet, she didn't say anything, thinking that he might have something to do, and she also knew that the test was just a waste of time for him.

Then again, a rule was a rule.

So, Suzuki couldn't leave. He left his copy, and naturally, when the first phase was over, it played out similarly to the original story, where Naruto shouted and passed the exam without answering a single question.

Then, the next examiner, Anko Mitarashi, arrived.

Yes, she was beautiful, and it could be said that she was the author's childhood dream lover, especially when the author was young and first saw her on television.

She had tied back her blue hair, showing off her white, smooth nape, and at the same time, wore mesh-like clothing that showed the shape of her perky body perfectly.

If there was one unfortunate thing, it was that Suzuki wondered how this woman would become fat in Boruto, when in Naruto and Shippuden, she was just beautiful.

Yet Suzuki also knew that Anko was a tragic character. If he had to say, she was quite similar to Naruto, who was loud and tried to hide his sadness by acting cocky.

As for why she did this, it was because of her past relationship with Orochimaru, the famous Sannin who had betrayed Konoha. Being his former student also affected her, as she just couldn't erase the stigma and was stuck in her position as a Special Jonin.

Regardless, Suzuki didn't think it was possible for him to get close to her, at least with how many women were already around him. He knew that he had to be careful, as he could see Hinata constantly staring at him.

"Suzuki-kun..."

Hinata murmured in a low voice, staring at Anko's perky, large breasts before looking at her own. While she might look flat currently, she was quite sizable; however, she knew well that she couldn't be compared to an adult woman like Anko. Yet, she wouldn't give up!

She would try to drink a lot of milk to make them bigger, so Suzuki would look at her all the time!

"......" Suzuki.

"So, that's Sensei's new disciple..."

A figure in the corner—a female with a snake-like tongue—licked her lips as she stared in Suzuki's direction. Even if Suzuki and Hiruzen hadn't explicitly announced their relationship, for many people, it was already an open secret; they all knew well that Suzuki was Hiruzen's new disciple.

Frankly, Orochimaru was surprised, yet when he looked at Suzuki's face... hmm... he had to admit Hiruzen had good taste. But was Suzuki strong?

Orochimaru wanted to test Suzuki, but decided to wait for that later, as his current target was a certain gloomy young man with spiky hair.

"Sasuke-kun~!"

Naturally, Suzuki could feel Orochimaru's gaze, but for someone like that guy, it was better to ignore him, as Suzuki didn't plan to do anything to Orochimaru. Some people thought that Orochimaru might be a villain, but he felt differently; he only thought of Orochimaru as a scientist.

Orochimaru's views and actions might be unacceptable to most, but the fact that many followed him showed that while he might not be a good guy, he was definitely far, far better than many scumbags.

Suzuki also needed Orochimaru, as he wanted to use him as a scapegoat for what he was about to do. Still, let's focus on the second phase of the Chunin Exam first.

So, what would they do?

This time, the exam wasn't being held indoors. Instead, it was located at the Forest of Death (Training Ground 44) and led by Anko. This meant it was a survival test, as they would have to stay in this forest for several days—or at least until they finished their mission—to collect a Heaven Scroll and an Earth Scroll and reach the central tower within five days.

Yet, would Suzuki want to stay in the forest for five days?

No way.

"Now, go!"

As Anko told everyone to enter the forest, the genin moved as soon as possible. The faster they entered, the higher their chances were to gain an advantage, as they could lay traps and choose opponents based on their levels, since no one wanted to attack the strongest.

"Let's go."

Following his words, Shino and Hinata entered the forest with him. This time, Suzuki decided to finish the test as soon as possible by taking out his bow.

"A bow?"

Shino was startled, and naturally, Hinata felt the same.

Standing on one of the large tree branches, Suzuki asked, "Hinata, open your Byakugan and tell me where the other teams are."

"Okay, Suzuki-kun."

Hinata nodded as the veins around her eyes bulged, and she quickly found the locations of the other groups. "Over there, Suzuki-kun."

"How far are they from us?"

"About 300 meters."

"Okay."

With Hinata acting as his spotter, Suzuki added, "Use your bugs to monitor our surroundings, Shino."

"Yeah."

Shino spread his bugs in various directions, so if anyone tried to ambush them, he could warn his teammates immediately.

Frankly, even without those two, Suzuki could detect everyone more or less. With his wind element jutsu, he could feel the presence of everyone in the forest, and with his fire jutsu, he could see the thermal heat radiating from the bodies of living beings.

But enough about that; he planned to finish this quest as soon as possible.

Taking a stance, he pulled the string of his bow once again as an iron arrow formed. This time, unlike before, he applied wind jutsu around it, enveloping the shaft, before releasing the arrow in the direction of the target group.

There was no sound. It was quiet, instantaneous, and highly destructive.

A group of genin had no way to detect an attack coming from 300 meters away. As the quiet iron arrows struck, they were blasted back and passed out immediately. But he wasn't finished, taking out several more groups one after another.

As for Hinata, who saw how strong Suzuki was, her eyes were filled with awe, staring at him with a starry gaze. At the same time, she couldn't help but look at Suzuki's bow curiously, touching her own eyes as she wondered... should she start using a bow, too?

"Let's go."

When Suzuki walked over to collect the scrolls, his group had secured several Heaven Scrolls and an Earth Scroll.

"We got them!"

"Hm..."

Hinata and Shino were happy.

"Let's go home."

"Okay!" the two replied.

Yup, with their mission finished, the three had no need to waste time. They arrived at the central tower under the bewildered gazes of many examiners, then opened their Heaven and Earth Scrolls to summon the proctor, who happened to be Iruka.

"...You all passed?"

"Yup."

Yeah, Suzuki is just built differently, Iruka thought.

BUG MAN

Such a missed opportunity for canon with hyugas and bows. It was right there too.

It isn't as strong as you might imagine. To use a bow, a special one is necessary; a normal one is just useless. The ninja can practically dodge, but if there is a firearm, then it will be different.

BUG MAN

I can understand that, but wind style could give the cutting edge! Not to mention the range those eyes could give them. At least have one ancestor that was amazing at it.

akikan40

Yeah, but you know how archaic the Hyuga Clan is; I don't think that they will change their ways unless Hinata shows them. Also, while Hyuga might be a noble clan, they aren't a clan that is famous for their ninjutsu, and the Hokage group definitely won't share their jutsu with anyone else except for their family or clique. More importantly, the one with the most wind jutsu is the Shimura Clan, Danzo's clan. Do you think Danzo will share his important jutsu? Well, Suzuki might be, thought, only to Hinata.

BUG MAN

True. Danzo ruins everything.
