Hey everyone! 🤠

We’re starting work on our first unique bosses! Each one will have special mechanics and abilities tied to their sin, along with their own CR.

We’re starting at CR 8, so which sin do you think should kick things off with the lowest CR? 😌

The only right answer for this is Pride, as the First; then Envy as Second. Wrath should be the Seventh, and the rest can fall where they may.

Pride is the First Sin, and honestly, Pride wouldn’t accept being “second” or “following” anyone. Envy coming in second though? Following Pride? Never quite being good enough to be First, and always “second best”? Poetic. And Wrath? Well, the end-state for a lot of sins is that they lead to Wrath — pride damaged? Wrath. Envy/covet someone else enough? Wrath. Avarice for what others have? Wrath. Jilted lover (Lust)? Wrath. Even Gluttony can lead to Wrath. Sloth is really the only one that isn’t always destined to lead to Wrath if displayed in high enough quantities.

Sloth should be just before wrath, to make them more wrathful…

I think it should be by increasing CR Sloth, Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Wrath. Why? Sloth is too lazy to be stronger Envy is just envious of how much stronger everyone else is of them Gluttony is a bag of HP with a consume mechanic Greed being the average of the group but wanting more Lust just had to go somewhere Pride thinks they are the strongest Wrath of course they are the hardest Challenge to fight

Pride is the first sin. It’s pride that makes you stand up for yourself and stand against your creator, before all other sins. It’s Pride that makes you deviate from the rules. Other sins are a result of human nature, but Pride is, if not the *worst* sin by its origin, the First Sin.

Please make them all free like you did with the weapons I also feel like these bosses should drop their respective weapons or at least have a high chance of dropping them when defeated

That’s a good explanation! That’s why I’m glad I made this poll, it’s great to hear different ideas and perspectives. Any of them could be made the strongest, but that’s not what this is all about

Hey, I’ll keep your comment in mind! I’m still not quite sure what format I’ll release this in, but as for the weapons, the bosses might be a little separate from those, not all of them have to be humanoids

Yeah true though connecting the bosses to their respective weapon of the same sin might be a good idea like maybe they drop something that you need to forge/find the weapon just a thought though and at the end of the day it’s your choice since your the creator
