And the final drop for this design series - the pen holder!
I recycled most of the design from the Bath & Body Works soap holder so most of the print/fit information will be the same but I'll copy & paste it below for easy reference (though there are some slight differences).
Top plate:
Because it is a 6 colour design, the face down plate needs 2 AMS. The embossed design can be printed using 1 with a pause. Or you can remove some colours to make it 4 as well. This is all labelled in the 3MF for you.
Base body:
I've also provided the option of a coloured face (see images above) for the side on the plate. This lets you have the same design on both sides of the pen holder. Obviously this uses more filament so that would be up to you which base to print. Again because the design is face down you will need 2 AMS or remove a few of the colours.
There's also the option of having the divider in the middle or not, this lets you split the compartment inside into 2 sections - more of a preference thing really or if you like to separate your pens/pencils/bookmarks/scissors from each other.
Fitting:
The top plate and the main base body prints in two parts and then press fitted together. It is a tight fit because we can't exactly have it coming loose but it is a snap fit - so feel free to use a little force but don't push so hard you break the front plate! If you find it too tight this is likely due to filament calibration - you're most likely over-extruding a little (as I also had the same issue prior to calibration) so you can try the version with a bigger clearance or calibrate your filament. Either way you do not need to print the whole thing again - just the top piece.
If you find yourself on the other end and it's a little too loose even on the smaller clearance then you will need a little glue to hold the top and base parts together. Not ideal I know but it's hard to design for all printer and filament tolerances, hopefully you don't glue your fingers like I do. 😩

I do wonder if people prefer me bundling designs into 1 jumbo release bundle or release them as soon as they're ready? Let me know in the comments!
