UPDATE: I've now added a version of the bases with the keychain hole on the inside of the bases. Please grab V2 from the download post. If you purchased from Etsy or Cults please go to Purchases and redownload V2 for the new bases. Nothing else has been changed.

This is the first part of a larger series of build your own clickers that I'll been working on!

These have been doing super well for me at market events so I hope members can benefit from this too. 🥰

The first design I have are simple rounded square shaped bases with matching letter keycaps. There's also a few other odd shaped ones such as 2x2, 2x3 bases etc. For keycaps there are letters, numbers and special character ones including a heart, star, smiley face and also blank coloured ones allowing you can fully customise your clickers however you like!

What's in this pack:

1-10 Square Bases (with and without keychain hole attachment, inside hole or external ring options)

2x2, 2x3, 2x4, 3x3 and T shape Bases

A-Z Letter Keycaps

0-9 Number Keycaps

Special keycaps: Star, Smiley, Heart, Plain

Paid members can download these via the Download Post or using the link below:

Or you can purchase these as a one-off from Etsy and Cults (commercial license included):

Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4529845656/

Cults: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/build-your-own-keyboard-fidget-clicker

I will be expanding on this series of models to include different shapes, sizes, and more keycap designs! A modular version is also in the works alongside display containers and trays. 🤩

Also thank you to everyone who voted and suggested ideas in the most recent design poll! I'll be leaving this up for a little while to give more people the chance to vote for what they'd like to see but it has given me a lot of fresh and new ideas to work on. 💖

I am interested in this if you're going to expand on the keycap designs

AniMai Designs

Yep, I’ll be adding more signs and symbols to the square caps soon. I’m also going to be making different shaped bases alongside a modular set

Hello! Is anyone having issues with the fit of the keycaps? We find that they are too loose and will often fall off. Is there a way to have a slight fix to insure a tighter fit?

AniMai Designs

Interesting, mine often come out too tight actually! 😅 I believe I enabled Arachne by default but you can try using Classic wall generator. Classic uses a more consistent line width so often it's better if you aren't printing anything too thin. The letters and designs are thick enough on the caps to be printed with classic. If you could give that a try on a few tests and see if it fits better! If not I can try and tighten the tolerances on the stem a little.

I am experiencing the same problem. Switching to "classic walls" made it even worse. Do you happen to have any tips to resolve this? I am using Kailh Box switches.

AniMai Designs

Hi, the fit can be very filament dependant. What I suggest doing is adjusting the X/Y Hole Compensation by a tiny fraction (-0.02 to -0.08, up to -0.1) to make the stem area a tiny bit thicker. Alternatively try scaling the keycap piece down by 0.1%-0.2%. I would test this by adjusting the values and printing one at a time until you find the number that you feel is best before printing multiple.

Thank you so much, I'll get to work on it.
