Jumbo Clicker Pen & Pen Stand 📝 (Paid) (Patreon)

I've been working on this for a while now, trying to get the best fit sizing for different types so I'm excited to share it with you all!

These clicker pens feature a clickable eraser while also being functional as a real pen! A matching pencil sharpener pen stand with an editable name (3MF only) is also included making this a great teacher gift!

I've included options for both 107mm refills and also BIC Cristal pens. I've noticed with my own refills that sometimes these are manufactured a little smaller so I've also included a 105mm top if you find your 107mm refills slip too much. And as someone who uses the Apple Pencil somewhat often I've also included a longer body and tip to fit the Apple Pencil! This is tested for 2nd generation pencils only so I cannot guarantee they work for other pencils.

You will need to print 4 parts: eraser, top, body and the tip. Different tops, bodies and tips are included for each type of refill.

Print Settings:

The pen is printable on single colour printers as each piece is modelled separately. The pen stand requires an AMS/multicolour printer.

No supports are required but I recommend using a brim for the tip pieces as the diameter is very small on the first layer and will be tricky without a cool plate especially for the BIC tips.

Do note that filament calibration can affect the fit a lot for models like these where the sizing needs finetuning. If you find the tips slipping or being too tight for the refills, try increasing or lowering your X/Y hole compensation in the slicer by 0.04-0.06 or resize them slightly smaller, by around 0.1%-0.2%.

The name on the pen stand can be adjusted in the slicer, alternatively a blank version is also included. The front metal piece is printed separately and pressed or glued in. I recommend printing this metal piece standing up using a brim for better quality but you can also print this lying flat and use adaptive layers to reduce the stepping effect.
