Poll Results, Final Updates and News Items! (Patreon)

Hello!

The poll results are in! There's a lot of items to cover so I'm going to make each point as brief as possible:

Based on November's poll results this is the schedule for December:

Bulwark/DW style Terminators with sweet shield options

Phoenix Lord Fuegen the Burning Lance.

From the queued items, I'll include Noise Marine and Slaanesh style SoS in December as well.

I also think next month is a good opportunity to at least start my Lion 2.0 (pre heresy version) in parallel with the DA content. So if the community has any celebrity casting suggestion suggestions for the 1st son, I'd love to hear them. 😉

I'll add the Khârn/Argel Tal suggestion into the list of queued items even though I should really focus on trimming it down. After several polls, I've found that suggestion occupies the strange position of always being near the top without quite making it. But it's close enough and probably redundant for the community to keep voting for it.

I've also got the final updates for this month's items. For the 'versus' theme this month, I decided to make a diorama with the Predator absolutely murdering a ton of Clone troopers while doing a 2 on 1 against Obi Wan and 80's style Landmate. I shall call it the 'Massacre at Geonosis'. Great level suggestion for Smash Bros I think. 👍

Does it make sense or is it even remotely realistic that the Predator can win? I'm pretty sure the answer is no but hopefully it looks cool. And Predator fans can always fall back on the bulletproof counterpoint that Batman fans keep in their deck. The Predator had prep time. 😄

Here are the final poses for the 80's style Landmate and Thunder from the Three Storms as well. Thunder gets two poses!

I know the versus theme this month was a departure from my usual cycle, but I wanted to shake things up a bit. If community members want to see something similar in the future, please let me know!

Oh, and quick aside, Obi Wan general helmet will also be available as a cosplay helmet design in December's release.

Which brings me neatly to the bonus reward for December. So this month already had a lot of Obi Wan Kenobi content and there was something I always personally wanted to do. Awhile back, I mentioned that while Ewan McGregor did a fantastic job as Obi Wan, my favourite depiction has always been from Sir Alec Guinness. To me at least, he always brought a certain gravitas and dignity to the role that no amount of CGI can hope to emulate. So for this month's bonus reward I wanted to do a tribute for my favourite actor to play Obi Wan.

The final items I wanted to bring up is the welcome pack. A few months ago, I mentioned I would be be trimming some of the oldest items in the Consulter welcome pack which really has gotten ridiculously large.

What does this mean?

At the end of December 2024, I will remove all project folders dating from 2020-2021 from the Consulter welcome pack.

Consulter members up to December 31st 2024 will receive an MMF reward link with those items so they can keep it permanently. But they will no longer be part of the welcome pack from 2025 onwards. I will be slowly migrating this content back to my MMF storefront.

Merchant members (active and future) will be unaffected by this change in 2025 and onwards.

Alright, that's another Sci Fi Month in the bag! If you voted for this month's items, please let fans know about the release as I find I have less and less time to do promotional stuff. Thanks!

Now get ready for Grimdark month because you've probably never seen anything quite like what I have planned. 😉
