Wait, What Year Is This? (Valkyrie and Cyberpunk Bounty Hunter WIP) (Patreon)

Good day!

Here's my first pass for this month's Valkyrie and Cyberpunk characters.  In Norse mythology, Valkeries are the choosers of the slain.  They determine who may die in battle and those who may live. Selecting among half of those who die in battle, the Valkyries take their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin.  After looking at different concepts and experimenting, I found that the eagle motif works pretty well with Valkyries.  So I based my armour design around that while accentuating it with some Norse symbols. 

Next is the Cyberpunk Bounty Hunter, and nothing says Cyberpunk like a cool haircut, tons of augmetics and sci fi weaponary.  Using the base concept, I decided to take some inspiration from the Deus Ex and Shadowrun series.  While sleek, the augmetics are also designed to look futuristic, with tons of intricate gears and microciruitry.

In terms of weapons, I gave the Valkyrie a giant hammer because that's the first weapon that comes to my mind when thinking about Vikings.  I'll also include the spear from the concept art as well.  The Cyberpunk bounty hunter gets an assortment of weapons but her primary will be a high tech assault rifle.  

I'll be adjusting some details and doing the poses for them next.  I've also got some other assets down the pipeline and will show them when they're ready.  Stay tuned!
