You're going to get hundreds of comments about the ending on this one. It seems like most streaming services use the US cut rather than the original which is considerably more bleak. There's about thirty seconds or so removed after the final jumpscare in the car. Great film from Neil Marshall, following up from Dog Soldiers which is just as fun, and followed by Doomsday, which was a bit of a flop despite how much I love its silliness. Doomsday shares a few cast members with this one but has much more of an action focus. When Beth looks into the cave at the start she says "I'm an English teacher, not fucking Tomb Raider", which is a fun little nod as Rhona Mitra was one of the original promotional models for Lara Croft. A few years later, the "rising from the pool of blood" shot was lifted wholesale in the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot.
