Create stunning standing boudoir photos

In this video I want to give you some tips and tricks about standing poses. First, I want to talk about posing and what instructions I give my clients and models. Secondly, I want to show you three simple natural light setups and show you how you too can shoot stunning boudoir photos.

Pose 1
The first very simple pose is created when you ask your model to cross her legs. Alternatively, your model can bend one knee. The most important thing in standing poses is to rotate the butt backwards. You can now photograph her from the front and make her beauty shine.

Pose 2
In the next pose, you can photograph your model's back. Ask her to stand on one leg by choice and bend the other leg. The important thing is to push the butt back again and if your model wants, she can also put her head on the back of her neck to make her hair look even longer and more beautiful and visible on her back.

It is always important that you direct your model and tell her how to turn so that you see the catch lights on the back. You are responsible for positioning your model how far or how close she should stand to the light source and how she should turn to create beautiful shadows on her back.

With these two poses, you can create stunning and sexy images in the following lighting situations.

Portrait Light
Portrait light is a very simple setup to create stunning photos because the model is beautifully lit in a very flattering light. To create the most beautiful images with portrait lighting, your model should be almost completely turned up to the light source. It is essential that you communicate with her and also show your model pictures every now and then.

Sidelight
The side light is a very nice body-shaping light, which especially emphasizes the belly and décolleté. It is, however, a bit harder on the face. This particularly varied light is suitable for front and back photographs and detail shots. Of course, it's important to choose the right outfits to show off the skin. Your task is again to guide your model to, for example, turn her hips more towards the window or light source. This way you will have even more beautiful catch lights in the photos.

Silhouette light
To show the beautiful body shape of your model perfectly, she should stand in front of the window and bend her leg again and push her hip back. A good option here is also to have your model play with her outfit. Photograph against the light and you create stunningly beautiful silhouette shots.

Kreiere atemberaubende stehende Boudoir-Fotos
